I would like to try this with some Transformers, is it true is unlikely to dye in those spots?

You will just have to try it out and see what happens. I'm actually going to be doing an updated video soon. Using both powder and liquid dye.

I actually started off using powdered dye but I recommend using the liquid because sometimes the powder may leave residue on your figures.

Go ahead and try the powder just make sure you stir it really good and if you can use a colander so the figure isn't sitting on the bottom of the pot.

Then when the piece you're dying is done. Just make sure to wash it really good before painting or displaying

I’ve had certain pieces fade over time, ever dealt with that? Also, be careful if a dyed part regularly rubs against a lighter colored part, I’ve noticed the dye can sometimes stain the lighter part.

No I've never had a piece fade before over time. Definitely something I will keep an eye on. Thanks for the tip 🙂
