There are two ways to duplicate or make a copy of an object in Blender. First, you can simply duplicate a copy of an object as a separate entity by holding Shift + D. Second, you can keep the duplicate of the object linked to the first object by holding ALT + D. When the copy of your object is linked, it will follow all position, scale, rotation settings as the first object.
