My daughters second day. She’s two years old and having a hard time. Cries pretty much when I’m gone 10-2pm. We started part time. I really need some advice. I give her a quick drop off and of course she’s crying...when I pick her up she cries running up to me. I know it’s hard for the workers. Please help any advice??

No one responded but it’s perfectly normal to have kids cry at pickup. They are happy but also exhausted and ready to emotionally unload. Remember that at school they have to follow all kinds of rules and they are sharing an adult with lots of other kids. Once parent picks up they feel relieved and ready to express all their emotions they’ve been holding back. As a preschool teacher kids can be happy all day and then suddenly burst into tears
