Sorry about that, KZread banned our channel a few months ago for "illegal content" and when they realised we didn't do anything wrong, they unbanned us and all our videos went to 360p 😭

thank you for this tutorial, I have been waiting for someone to make an English tutorial for the 81-717. One question is there a way to deactivate the ALR and ARS when driving the 81-717? I know in the 81-720 and 81-722, it is possible to disable both the ALR and ARS while driving the train.

Hey, they updated the game and changed some stuff since I did this tutorial. A few things to try: Press: Shift + 0. Spam = and +. That "should" fix it.

hello dude, i got some problem kinda, train spawner, and train editor doesn't seem to appearing in my entities and the metrostroi utility, some help please? (btw, i already put the downloaded files on the add-on folders like Add-on Content Pack (1-6) and others.) i also see that you seem to be playing to a single player map, please help.

Some servers have a lower maximum. If you are the host, you must change the limit up higher, but it's been so long since I've played so I do not remember the command

What train model is this? I cant get my to work

I think you press R a few times to turn off and F a few times to turn on.

The decoder ALS in the train doesn't seem to work for me. Anyone have any idea why that might be?

Thanks for the speedy reply! The entire dashboard stays exactly like 1:22, and not 1:24 after you switch the decoder on. The speed limit doesn't appear either. As soon as I try to accelerate, it says something along the lines of 'power circuits failed to assemble' on one of the dashboard lights. I don't really understand it beyond that, as I've only followed the steps you show in the video.

Random servers usually, which ever Metrostroi server has least number of players so that I get all the FPS to myself :P

You just have to download all the mods from the steam workshop, there's several mods all linked together by the Creator.

Hey, all you need to do is download the steam workshop addons, some servers require extra content but here is the basics if you intend on hosting your own / playing single player: steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=261801217 (make sure you subscribe to the extra required items on the right side of the screen) Good luck :)

We don't condone piracy but if you want, here's a tool that lets you download steam workshop add-ons and install to non steam games (pirated games): steamworkshop.download/ All you have to do is download all the add-ons from workshop and then install into your copy of GMod and it should work fine. The game has been updated a few times since this tutorial was released. Try spamming numpad enter, numpad minus or numpad plus. That should spawn a lever on the train and let u move. Good luck! :)

AzzaFortysix Excuse me! There seems to be a problem with my trains. I have found out the problem for the case of my train bugs. Apparently I have removed some sort of add on and it was to control the 81 717. I am now sad, and I need to know what it is now.

Did you select 3 carriages? If you have any other number then it won't work.

Did you install all the add-ons correctly? You need quite a few. If you are unsure of which ones you need, try to search for a collection in the steam workshop, they usually contain most of the mods U need

They changed something in the game, try spamming MINUS, PLUS or ENTER on your numpad and you should see a lever pop up on the dashboard / hear a noise and then the train will begin to work. Hope this helps.

Did you set up the route using the "menu" button on the dashboard? You need to press it until you hear an announcement.

I recommend playing on a server, this addon usually lags because garry's mod uses source engine which can only use a single CPU core and therefore doesn't have enough power to calculate all the physics and stuff. You can also check out something called Turbostroi which enables multiple cores and can improve lag. Best of luck.

This tutorial is bullshit. When you stopped at the station you didn't even try to align the train with the platform. And you recieved that 0 speed limit because the doors of the station were open. These doors should open after the train stops and close before the train departures normally, so when the doors are open any train being within the station is restricted to move.
