ryan meana yeah, the 10 Speed International day cab I drive is non-synchronized; but the pro is that I float gears, only using the clutch to start and stop

I once tried to start on high 6 after a light turned green during one of my first lessons, because I was a dumbass and forgot to put the box to low lmao. I had like 3000kg of water as cargo so not fully loaded by any means, that is why my intention was to start on low 2. My teacher was cool tho. He was like "don't worry girl, there will be more green lights, don't mind any honks lol". Luckily I passed my test with flying colors 9 months ago xD

On gear stick, C meaning crawler gear and R means reverse gear. Crawler gear gives the maximum amount of torque needed to climb hilly/uphill terrain. To use crawler gear you have to push gear stick in far left and forward position. For reverse gear, you have to move gear stick in far left and backwards position.

c means "crawler". its used for going up steep hills

My advice is get training on automatic because nowadays most of new trucks in the UK have automatic transmissions as they can be driven by inexperienced driver. In my company 95% of new trucks are automatic.
