Art doesn't change much=)

so i'm finally deciding to learn how to draw body parts and this helped so much that i can't believe i drew realistic lips considering i never have before, thanks so much dude.

Wei is a great artist. Dude never erased once, but like all great ones, uses light initial strokes and incorporates the remained into Shadow.

Lips are like my least favorite to draw in a portrait because of the highlights but wow the anatomy blew my mind. 😂 I can believe it's that simple! Thanks haha

Which pencil is used?

Do you have reference books that I can obtain that show step by step I can't find any. Also teeth?

what paper would you recommend for charcoal and graphite drawings individually?

I use charcoal on catridge paper A3 size. But the problem comes when I'm trying to smudge the light flat strokes and fill up done with a thick charcoal stick. There are patches being left behind and it doesn't look smooth

Charcoal paper tends to have a lot of textures on it. Usually your drawing has to be quite large with charcoal since charcoal is such a broad medium.Ayushi Gandhi

+Art of Wei I've seen a few years back, but I've been making time to watch your tutorials again. :) I'm usually concious of my decision, and while I like the accuracy contours give, I usually see my portrait crumble due to lack of reference points and structure. Thanks for the answer!

It's just graphite pencils

when i was trying to learn to draw i think a problem i had was i was too much of a perfectionist like every little error when something didnt look right it took me FOREVER to fix and it was like every sketch was the one and only or something. like even in ur sketch at 3:40 the bottom lip goes to far right that would bug me until i fixed it
