I need to watch this video every day to reinforce my needed behavior changes. I have such a hard time leaving my spouse alone and letting God work on Him. I'm always wanting to say the right thing, pray the right prayer, and write him notes with scriptures and words. Lord help me to trust you more.

Same here. After 11 months of trying my way I have pushed her into another man’s arms and it’s a deep regret and pain. Letting go and letting God control is the hardest thing to do but the best thing. I need Godly sorrow, patience, renewing of my mind, and guidance.

He’s 💯. We so often turn our spouse into our idol. That’s a recipe for disaster. God should be #1 in our focus, then we will love them through the Lord.

Thirteen months into separation from my wife here. I was the prodigal but she left me. I deserved it for sure. I started changing quickly, but she had to go through a process, too. We have swapped unfaithful/betrayed/standing roles a couple of times. One big change was the difference between needing her back and wanting her back after my need bagan to be for Jesus. Now we feel closer to reconciliation while we just sit back and let God work on the marriage and each of us. Glory to God on the changes in us and the marriage.

This video was speaking to me. Almost five years into spousal abandonment and multiple affair partners, the Holy Spirit has gently guided me into the correct path to follow. If he comes back or not is not as important as following the purpose and destiny God has orchestrated for me. Tomorrow I am physically taking a long trip toward my rehabilitation, having understood through prayer that this is God’s plan for me. God bless you Dominic 😍

I pray for my prodigal husband to turn to the Lord. It's been over 11 months separated after 37.5 years. I surrender myself to God and pray trust His healing. I have no words… yesterday was a revelation and today this video. Church… I ask for a global prayer for Matt Hartley, in Oregon for his salvation. Pray the Lord our loving Savior come upon him in such a loving merciful way to lead Matt to repentance… in my excruciating pain of a breakup, I am obeying the Lord and not trying to do this on my own…

I clearly see my own selfishness, wrongdoing, and especially idolatry in my attempting to force my will, instead of total submission, and surrender to the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and His ways instead I've attempted to force my will ,and timing instead of yours Lord. It’s true all what you’ve said..I’ve tried my way to get her back desperately, gifts, offerings, telling her I’ve changed.. all it’s done has pushed her further away. I’m on a binge of your videos. Thank you for the work you’re doing xx If your spouse has cheated or moved in sexually, the Bible says you are released. You are obliged, biblically, to let your spouse go. If they cheat and try to say, it is biblical and holy to divorce them. It’s the only reason given.

I love that im in agreement when you pray you pray that God bring that one partner or loved one back to him not you the relationship between them and God is more importantly than you. We all need more of God and not more of people, relatives, friends ect. Though shall not have no other gods before me. We are not here to make someone our god we are neither no god to anyone. You have to remember we wrestle not with flesh and blood. It’s so hard to remember this when our spouse hurts us. But they are under demonic influence or even control in some cases (my husband’s).

If your loved on has left you because they had enough of your poor treatment of them, let them go! If you truly loved them you will honor their wishes to end the relationship. If God wants it to work out HE will make it happen. So let them go and forget about them.

I keep going back and forth on this regarding her birthday. I think everyone is in a different situation. My ex is dating someone else so I will not be texting her on V day but I asked to be able to text her on special occasions during our final conversation… I’m not sure I will text her on her birthday but that is still months away. Pray on it. I want to surrender it fully to God and to be able to accept the outcome he has chosen for us whether it was the outcome I am hoping for or not.

Psalm 51 was written after David was rebuked by Nathan. So i mean this is a little confusing. I agree with it all, as far as surrendering your spouse and marriage to the Lord & staying out of His way. But also, He uses us to carry out His will. So where is the line? That’s a hard one for me to understand. I’ve been fasting and praying to understand.
