Hi everyone! Here's my drawing of Cherry Blossoms! I love when cherry blossoms appear each Spring and this week I decided that I should try a coloured drawing. This year I also made sure to get as many photos as possible before they disappear again. I really hope this video helps out in some way. Thank you so much for the amazing support. Thank you SO much. I am an Artist myself, but I specialize in portraits. I have been asked to do a cherry blossom tree piece for a client. I honestly didn't know where to start. I found a simple google image and started working from that, Today I realized you have a video tutorial up of that exact picture! THANK YOU!!! My client will be happy. As will I.

I've been using mid tone tanned paper for years now because I love the contrast you can get with charcoal and white pastel. Also I love this piece, keep up the good work

I like your technique, it's very nice and surreal feeling, and that's exactly the type of feeling I am trying to replicate from real life. Great work! I had learnt your interesting technique. As currently it's Cherry Blossoms season, I want to attempt to draw some Cherry Blossoms for my own pleasure. ^^

I am going to try to apply some of these techniques to my cherry blossom piece. I am a little hesitant to start because it is my first attempt at watercolors and for my mom. If this was acrylic I would have been done weeks ago. Our image's are very similar, but not too much difference in floral branches. Very pretty, and I will try to share when I'm done. Mine is on white watercolor paper, and turned in a landscape view with flowers crossing the boarder and the stem stopping at the boarder.

I used this as a template to improve how I draw trees. turns out, notches and gnarls are important to avoid making them look like match sticks

I tried it with other colours set... Though it didn't came out like yours but I'm satisfied with the results.. I don't have all the materials u have especially white colour... Anyway I wanted to thank you for always saying that even if we don't have wat u have.. Still something will come out like ur drawings.. That sentence really encouraged me to come back to drawing... Thank you so much and keep up with ur great art
