How to draw an orchid-quickie sketch

I hope you are all doing well and having fun being creative in your own way. Today’s video is a tutorial on how to draw and orchid. Follow along with me. You can slow the video down or speed it up. Ooooooo…fun!
Thanks for this- sad to see someone comment they are nervous about trying to have a go - I have never drawn anything before but have started copying your tutorials and have been amazed that recognisable pictures appear! As you often say - it's just a piece of paper lost if it goes wrong - but more often it works - and each try it gets better and I have started doodling different kinds of flowers and mushrooms now (none of which are real types! lol) All you do is have a go - no-one is judging your efforts!

Exactly just go with it and have some fun. I can understand how some are apprehensive and scared. It’s hard for some to not get it on the first try. But sketching is a process and we all learn in our own way. So happy you are sketching and enjoying it. It makes me so happy to hear 😊

I know it can be intimidating, but we are our own worse critic. We are hard on ourselves. If you can put that aside and just go for it, you might just surprise yourself. Besides what do you have to lose. Keep all your sketches. Even the ones you don’t like and in a few months of sketching compare them and you’ll see an improvement over your technique. Hope you give it a try. Thank you for watching 😊
