Very interesting beginning I have worked in pastels for 30 years and I don't believe I would have started with a black pastel background that I knew I would be fighting the entire time. But the end result was very nice. I really liked your style.

Isn't difficult to blend on pastelmat paper ...compared to other papers? I find it is very tightly textured or sanded...to push the colour inside the grooves...while blending.. .i value your comment please

It's PastelMat paper and the size of the paper is 12" by 16".

I don't mean to be pedantic. But as good as the video is for pastels, You have not shown how to draw the rose. That's what I was expecting. None the less...Thank you.

Roses are actually fairly easy.. just take your time & study then under different lighting.
