How to Draw a Realistic Eye with Makeup using Graphite Pencils

Hi Guys.
In this video I will show you how to draw a realistic eye with makeup using graphite pencils. In this tutorial you will step by step learn how to draw the eye and how to shade it with gorgeous makeup. If you are new to the channel you should also know that I have other tutorials onm How to draw realistic eyes.
As usual I start out by sketching. I notice how only a few of the other big tutorial makers never show the sketching process, so I'm happy that I always do. In that way you actually learn how to draw an eye and can draw your own realistic eye after you are done - as long as you grab your graphite pencils, erasers, blendingtools, etc and get started practising.

Wow I really love your tutorials. And the outcome in awesome. Thank you Nina. In this day and age where nothing is free you teach and that is great. I was wondering do you have a pencil checklist as to which pencil to use for which section as I have a lot of sketching material and confused often. Thank you.

Use harder pencils for sketching and shading and go softer and softer as you progress. Use a light pressure to start with :) There is no correct pencil as such - it’s about how you apply it :)

Then you can use eraser ink or leave the paper without graphite :)

The pen corrector has a thick line .

Hi Emelie. You can use anything else white as long as you are careful. You can leave the paper with no graphite or erase. It's mostly about contrast, so the darker you make the eye, compared to the white reflection, the more shiny it will look. I can only recommend you to try investing in a gel pen, but you really dont HAVE to own one to get nice results :)
