I'm thrilled to have found your channel. I hope you continue to make videos, the idea for draw alongs is wonderful! Your tips and anatomy lessons are invaluable to me. With the box technique you showed here I feel like I can finally get a basic grasp on proportions at least. My problem now is making the head/neck too large or too small... but that will be resolved with practice... I hope! :D Thank you again.

Question: At what point in the drawing do you erase the support lines (the box and the stick skeleton)? What is the best way to go?

Thank you for asking! Once you start on the final shape I would erase the box and most of the stick horse, keep just enough to still know where you're going to draw, then when you have the horse lined out erase a much as possible and start shading. I drew this on a wacom cintiq, there you draw in layers and you can make them more or less opaque.
