    I began to learn sewing when I was 15 from my mother and a class at school. Later in life I took a class in college on Fashion design and pattern drafting. I bought your book at B&N and I enjoy reading it. I am looking forward to your next book.     There was only one person who made me feel comfortable to learn sewing. I enjoyed sewing so much and she made it fun. That was nearly 30 years ago.     I've learned draping Technics in my school but everything was with dart so i am really happy to learn draping without dart and it feels so easy to learn from u.. thanks for making it so easy for us to understand.     I just ordered 2 of your books and can't wait to get them. Today I was thrift store shopping for yardage for toiles. I passed several gowns with those printed pastiles. As they were in the area $5 a bag, I'm going back Fri to pick them up (if they are still there) to try this. I've never worked with that material.

    Glad I found this, very inspiring, I love sewing but have been away from it for years, to be able to make a pattern by draping fabric gives me hope that I who is virtually between a beginner and intermediate home sewer might be able to acheive wearable clothing.

    Hello Nick, heck man, I just adored how easy you made that no-dart draping tutorial look. I wanted to go try it out immediately, while you were on. You see, I usually shy away from these troublesome fabrics. Anyway, kindly demonstrate the stitching up procedure of the entire dress, to completion, in a part 2, of the tutorial.
