You need to deduct the part of the sleeve you already have from the desired sleeve length you are working with

You need to measure round the space the flounce will pass through to know the measurement of the flounce you will need

Hello ma'am thanks for this tutorial..my question is that I notice there's no shoulder slope of 1inches...is there no need for that?

Maam after cutting out ur yoke, did u put joining allowance, how many inches did you use for the joining allowance should I use 1 inche or 0.5

Yes ma'am... The allowance you will put depends on the allowance you use in sewing... usually 0.5"

@@LarryBThreads ma'am is it not going to make the leanght of the fabric shot! Because I was meant to believe if ur adding allowance it has to be on both the upper and lower part if It is on paper, but in ur case, the measurement was cut on fabric, so if am putting 0.5 inches on one part of the fabric wat happens to the other part, won't it make the fabric shot!

I already have a video on the chanel that I cut a yoke on the pattern paper...I'm trying to show another method which is joining (actual sewing) before cutting out the yoke. If you watch the video again you will notice that I said that the lining is also serving as a pattern (not the actual fabric)....I used to the lining also as a pattern which I placed on the actual fabric adding necessary allowance before sewing..I decided not to add allowance to the velvet because it was very stretchy and I don't want it stretching more than necessary...if you are not using a stretchy fabric...you need to add seam allowance any where you are cutting out to rejoin
