Fantastic video, thanks a lot for this kind of content. Arena is a format that is really hard to get into as a relatively new player that wasn't there back when all the theory crafting happened, and the knowledge debt is hard to make up for in a game where mechanics can be fairly hermetic. I would love to see more of this.

Great Video, I was wondering if Rabbala could be squeezed in with Shida and the rest of the second rate mages? she has some solid earth boosts and “After 3700 years” is a very fast spell with a knock up. speaking of science spells, I don’t think the MP cost reduction from the Book SR works on them. there might be other buffs that those spells can’t activate

She's OK, but not nearly as good. She's tier 3 with units like ogRim. Tier 3 is: they can technically kill things, but it's gunna be hard. I had Shida in that category before, but he's proven himself better t g an I originally gave him credit for.

Manual play and mages can get around it. Especially after upcoming cast priority changes. It is annoying to play against tho, without some decent tools. Personally, ive been using Shida to great effect. In general, Area started getting extra annoying when they started dropping so many meta shifting units, so frequently. Really sucks tbh. Trying to sell my stacked account, which is super good, but i don’t have some of the recent bangers like Guile, so people just insta-skip. Lol Luckily I have enough setup that i should thrive decently in the upcoming ranking changes, where full-auto gets rewarded.

What is “non stacking magic” mean?? Also with institute of magic ark you can put mimic sorc on allies for 40% dmg right?

Yes you can opt to put mimicries on your units to achieve more damage. Good call. The only issue to consider is that depending on your computer, you could be making some of your units vulnerable to enemies with human slayer. But if they are all, already humans, it doesn't matter as much.

Jump to 5:48 of this video for what non-stacking" means. You can generally note this magic, in game by the red TS icon the magic has on it. Which I totally should have mentioned in the video.

@@EggplantOven yeah, it converts your damage which would hurt a unit focusing on other damage. The main value with that one is if you are fighting a unit that doesn't flinch vs ice magic, such as Rei, for example. Silver would then convert dmg to dark, thus flinching him. So it's better for CC than dps.
