You absolutely deserved each and every subscribe you have. I'm new to the game (3 months so far), and I watched most of your guides. I started off with a combat rogue (it's 5.9k atm) and watched your ICC POV streams, when I entered there for the first time, it was smooth as if I was used to its tactics (both normal and heroic 10/25) thanks to you man. I'm working on a feral druid atm then a fury warrior and I'm planning to make each and every class as the time passes. I hope that you're fine during this pandemic, thank you for making the game understandable and our newbie lives easier. Keep it up !

Small update, you don't cleave on the boss Deathbringer since the adds have 90 or 95% reduced cleave dmg, you can use rend on bosses if you have everything on CD for a small DPS increase, 1399 arp is 100% xD, I saw many warriors that start the fight and popping instantly Recklessness that wrong you should pop it when your trinket and berserk from you weapon procs, what you do is pop Death Wish charge same time you cast Heroic Throw everything should proc cast Recklessness. :) don't forget Heroic Throw 1min CD does a lot of dmg many ppl are not using it! everything is a small DPS increase but if you want to min-max that how you do it ;) overall your guide is good.

Great guide mate! Just so you know with the macros, you can just keybind the "Special Action Bar" buttons which are your battle stances to whichever keys you want. Saves you having to place the macros on your bar =)

This is actually super informative for a guide man. With wrath classic coming out I wanted to go warrior and this was the first guide to pop up, gave me a real good baseline for what I'm going in to!! Will definitely tweak it myself when the time comes! Good luck!!

From what i noticed with the heroic strike spamming is that it doesnt need to be kept on que always. On every use with instant spells like Whirlwind, Bloodthirst, Slam proc and Execution is that heroic strike hits faster than being qued which could cause a rage starve. For example after Bloodthirst you use Heroic strike afterwards, it kinda bypass the swing timer this way. Can be used with cleave also. Edit: this is just what i noticed, not sure if it really does bypass the swing timer, coz this is how i play as fwar in warmane.

I just checked it using an addon that keeps track of my swing timer, i did not notice any bypassing, the thing you might be confused with is the fact that off-hand hits do not proc cleave/heroic strike. That way of playing does however make rage management much more predictable, if you have time to keep an eye out of the swing timer ^^.

@@AwbeeX57 yea quartz have a tracking for swing timer. But i stopped using it coz its distracting haha. The way i time the swings is by pressing heroic strike after on each insta abilities, it kinda have a 0.5sec to hit on it then other abilites are also on point on their cds. Swing timer also work together with gcd so before hitting the heroic strike again i can still use any insta abilities on that time frame, like slam procs, sunder or shouts.

Heroic throw resets your swing timer. You have to use it immediately after heroic strike or you will lose your aa. Like if your aa hits every 3 seconds and you press heroic throw at 2.5 seconds, your aa will reset and the next heroic will be in 3 secs instead of .5

in 3.3.5a you can keybind "Special Action Buttons" in the Action Bar Functions section of keybinds, these in the case of a warrior are your stances. don't need a separate button

You don't need a macro for stances, just simply drag them from the spell book to your action bar. Battle Stance is in the Arms section, Def Stance is in the Protection Section, and Berserker Stance is in the fury Section.

@JaceBass in wrath live, people were a lot less experienced. Warmane has been around for more than a Decade. We play nothing but wotlk. So there are bound to be much better arms warriors that can match a fury warrior. But maybe you're right, its a pserver coding issue.

Imho, you shouldn't put that in your rotation as fury 3.3.5 I have done several tests on dummies and using Heroic Throw is barely noticeable. Better focus on what really matters since trying to put a Heroic Throw every minute might slightly get your rotation off and make you lose dps.

I know this is very old... but sunder armour does work (but not stackable with rogue exposed armour / fairy fire) , biggest one takes priorty. What happens is that say the boss has 35k armour, it it 35k at lvl 83, you as a level 80 reduce 100% armour, but that boss has 3 levels on you, so you remove a large chunk of it, but not all, because 100% of level 80 armour, not 100% of level 83 armour. the 20% debuff from sunder/expose armour ect does reduce the 35k by 20%, then you remove the 100% of lvl 80. I am unsure of "exact" maths, but the sunder does bring the boss closer to zero, but never hits zero, even with 100% armour pen, because of the level difference.

The Slam procs are random, right? Sometimes you only get 1 proc. Sometimes 2 procs at once. And in some occasions you dont get any procs at all for a few seconds, and you're left with no extra ability to press other than Heroic strike spam or re-apply Rend until BT and WW are up again... Or Execute spam as well if the boss is low hp. Thing is... how do you prioritise the Slam procs more exactly? Or does it even matter that much after all? Let's say that you re in a situation like this: - Bloodthirst is on cd - Whirlwind is up - and you just got 2 slam procs What do you do? You just cast Whirlwind in that situation? Maybe you'll get another 1x Slam proc which is going to "overwrite" the 2 Slam procs... I mean, sometimes you get so many Slam procs one after another that you don't get to use them, because we usually prioritise BT and WW over Slam procs, buut is this ideal tho? xD or you lose some dps by doing this?

Slam procs are based on the "Bloodsurge" talent. Heroic Strike, Bloodthirst and Whirlwind have a 20% chance of making your next slam insta.

Using Slam may never delay a Bloodthirst or Whirlwind. So until you get the T10-4 bonus lots slam procs will go to waste. The problem is that slam triggers a global cooldown and without the T10-4 bonus (or huge amounts of haste) you will only be able to use a slam proc between two Bloodthirst where Whirlwind is on cooldown.

Always give priority to Bloodthirst and Whirlwind. Before getting the T10-4 bonus you will waste lots of Slam procs but don't worry about those.

You are talking ab out 3.3.5, so ICC content. What about before? Is Arms worth playing at any point before T10 content? or should I rock Fury 24/7 in wotlk?

I've only ever played 3.3.5 but essentially ARP is broken as hell once you are able to max it out (1400, 100%) and with Titan's Grip being introduced in pre-WoTLK I feel pretty confident in saying that yes, Fury is the way to go for PvE on the entire 3.0.0 - 3.3.5 life span. Not to say that arms isn't one of the best things to use for PvP of course.

Well Hunter is really good in 3.3.5 :P, if you really want something new DPS wise tho i can suggest all the shadowmourne classes if DPS is what you want, easy and relaxing to play is for sure a Boomkin tho.

@@Mega15795321 I wouldn't recommend combining the two macro's, you'll limit yourself in a lot of situations.

Here's the way it actually works. Assume that your normal deep wounds application does a total of 600 damage, which would be 100 damage per tick. t0: first crit, 600 damage debuff applied (600 damage over 6 seconds, 600/6=100 per tick) t1: 100 damage tick (500 left, 5 seconds left) t2: 100 damage tick (400 left, 4 seconds left) t2.1 you crit again, 600 damage added to the stack and time refreshed to 6 seconds (So 1000 over 6 seconds, or 1000/6=166.66 per tick) t3: 166 damage tick (834 left, 5 seconds left) t4: 167 damage tick (667 left, 4 seconds left) t4.1 you crit again, 600 damage added to stack and time refreshed to 6 seconds (So 1267 left, 6 seconds left, 1267/6=211 per tick) t5: 211 damage tick (1056 left, 5 seconds left) t5.1 you crit again, 600 damage added to stack and time refreshed to 6 seconds (So 1656 left, 6 seconds left, 1656/6=276 per tick) t6: 276 damage tick (1380 left, 5 seconds left) t7: 276 damage tick (1104 left, 4 seconds left) t8: 276 damage tick (828 left, 3 seconds left t9: 276 damage tick (552 left, 2 seconds left) t10: 276 damage tick (276 left, 1 second left) t11: 276 damage tick (0 left, Deep Wound debuff expires) So basically, every time you crit with a weapon you will do an additional 600 bleed damage. That 600 damage is added to whatever damage is left to be applied and the debuff returns to a 6 second duration. You never lose out on that damage, but there's also not any real benefit to the way it stacks either. You will find your actual deep wounds ticks will vary, anywhere from say 100 per tick up to 350 per tick, but it just depends on how often your crits are. Boom, lots of letters. Rend, Mortal Strike, Overpower, make sure you use these 3 things on the enemy, if there is 2 use Sweeping Strikes and if there are 3-4 use Bladestorm! (which you dont have yet!)

hey, great video! about the hitrating on character info tab the number of percentagem hit rating does it count with the precision talent or you have to add later the 3%of talent? the question is the 5%hitrating i see on character info is 5% alone or is 5%+3%? thanks

All I know is, for level 80 mobs/players you need 5% as shown as a stat, I'm unsure what hidden stats boost this behind the UI but 5% is safe to say, best to have.

Great video! I got a question though: I started playing warrior in late cata and mop and back then you couldn't play fury properly unless your gear was close to BiS. Is that true for wotlk too? Or can I respec fury as soon as I hit lvl 80?

Yeah the gear does a lot, but with proper rage management you can get pretty big numbers with small gears.

I've never played wow and one of my friends recommended that I should play 3.3.5 Tomorrow I'm going to play this game and I've watched some videos on this game. Warrior is cool indeed.

If it's your first time. Warrior isnt the best choice, not that you cannot play it. But you might spend the longest time lvling, but at the end after 80 with some good gear, you become a dps god for PvE, and lots of variety in PvP aswell "Prepare yourself to bind a ton of keys and macros" :)

Retri of the same skill level as warrior won't ever outdps Fury in the single target scenario. It can do decent dps (in S to F rating, I would give him an A in good hands and B with average player, while fury is S for sure) and it scales even better on fights where you have more than 1 target (fights with adds, clearing trash, dungeons). Also if you care about achievements paladin is one of the best classes for soloing old content. If you want to be top dps melee go with fury warr/combat rogue/feral druid, where feral is one of the hardest specs in wotlk, and his damage is very skill level dependent, so I don't really encourage new players to play it. Ret at the other hand has a lot of utility (and what is connected to it - a lot of responsibilites), so for people, who like to play more supportive role, but still want to be decent melee dps, it's a great class. Also, prot warr is kinda useless in pve heroic environment (it's not unplayable, but without an end game gear and guild which trust you, you wont get spots for heroic raids as protection warr). That gives slight favor to paladin, if you care to work on your offspec in the future, because all of the three paladin's specs are very viable (prot pala is the best off tank and holy pala is the best tank healer in WotLK). In pvp both arms warrs and ret/holy palas are top tier. I'm maining paladin since wotlk retail, currently playing on warmane - icecrown private server and it still gives me a lot of fun (12 years straight :D). armory.warmane.com/character/Loclah/Icecrown/summary As retribution you can save some lives and possibly save raid from a wipe with your defensive cooldowns and offheals, but even tho standard dps rotation/priority list is very easy, paladin gameplay might be challenging for new players, because you are expected to provide all the utility you have to the raid (aura mastery, hand of freedom, hand of sacrifice, hand of salvation, hand of protection, lay on hands, offheals, divine sacrifice, divine intervention, all the blessings, holy wrath, stun, repentance) and because of seal and aura dancing (changing your seals+librams to maxmize dps or auras to maximize your raid survivability according to the situation/mechanic). Only things warriors have to do except big dick dps are: keeping sunder armor debuff, which stacks to 5 and last for 30 sec from last refresh, piercing howl (slow) on valkyrs during LK fight and very rarely disarm during clearing trash (eg. tacticians in crimson halls wing). TL;DR - go retribution if you want to be support with a lot of utility but also with decent dps in raid, go with fury if you prefer to have more braindead gameplay without almost any responsibility and just want to be on the top of dps charts.

Get the 1400 ARP cap, you can consider a stam/arp gem in that situation, preferably try to work with the JC 34 ARP gems and get it as close to 1400, activate a socket bonus with stam/arp IF you are gonna use that, which like i said probly not the best idea ;P

IMO easiest to play specs in Wrath have to be arcane/frost mage & elemental shaman. Pewpew Ofc there is a big difference between skill floor and skill ceiling. It's easy to notice the difference between a good / experienced player and bad / lazy one. Some rotations and spells can be super easy to use but the you may be required to fill the responsibilities of your class and spec's role in a given situation, as well. Thereby heightening the difficulty of the spec.

Yeah their worth it, dunno the exact numbers but taking some agi pieces gives you a lot of melee crit.

It was bugged on TW along with chimera shot, frost strike, hammer of the righteous etc benefiting twice from % dmg buffs

@@AwbeeX57 Ben lekker bezig me warrior te gearen in ICC. Ben ff gestopt met Paladin omdat ik een uitdaging wou. Ging als 4.3k in ICC 25 en ging eruit als 4.7k 🤧😂

Well, ideally you don't want to press that button at all if you are not 100% sure that it is instant because it resets you melee swing timer.

But.. you can just keybind your stances. No need to macro

Yeah, My best theory is that it wasn't like this back in the days or.... I had a massive oversight.

/cast battle stance /cast rend /cast berskerer stance Works for fly phases, transition etc. Also bind shoot for fly phases Also shattering throw at start if you are a team player and dont care about dps

Lol 20k dps in wrath. I musta been trash cause 3-4K was strong for my guild
