When I go to download any modpack it says "An exception occurred during a webclient request" what do I do?

Thanks so much i just got a pc and when i loaded it up it said i didnt have enough ram and if i wanted it to play it i needed to allocate more and i have 32 gigs but i couldn’t figure out how to do it so thanks alot 🙏🏻

For some reason half my mod packs that worked before now when I press play on them in the menu it does nothing literally lol

Rexus I heard a lot of people say over wolf isn't safe and sells your data, should I install curse forge? (I have tried feed the beast)

How do I use OptiFine with this launcher? I can't figure out how to run optifine with the mod. I'm trying to use shaders.

There's a video I made that shows you how to install mods using the curseforge client :) That will help you with getting OptiFine in your game!

when i hit play in curseforge it brings me to somewhere that isnt my account and says i dont have the game, i followed what you said but i cant figure out what is wrong. have any fix for this?

Make sure you've logged into the vanilla Minecraft game at least once before, that should help fix the issue :)

yo man cool video. but there is another comment by the man named weal who said that his launcher keeps reverting back to 4 gigs of ram. same thing keeps happening to me. how do I fix that man?

for some reason when i open it it just crashes, well i guess its a computer problem

when i change the ram ammount it resets to 4gb after i play every time, how do i stop this? edit; i cant open any worlds when im on 4gb i think its because i made the world on 8gb?

I dont know if it is still relevant to you since its been 4 month, but the solution is to go to the gear on the bottom left of the curse launcher, then select Minecraft under "game specific" and then scroll to the bottom of those settings, there you can change the default RAM

what number would i put if i had 32GB of ram?

No more than 8GB. Any more can lag your minecraft game

Overwolf is just the platform that hosts CorseForge, you don't really need to use it beyond getting the CurseForge client :D As for the download issue, I hear that's often due to slow internet speeds. I'd suggest doing some personal googling on downloads getting stuck to see if there's a common fix. If that doesn't give any good answers, you can open a ticket by clicking on the question mark icon in the CurseForge application, which will allow you to request support from the curseforge staff. Hope that helps!

You absolutely can do both of those. I don't have tutorials on those bits specifically but I'm sure there are many others who have done that :)

In the same way FTB is installed via Overwold. You can do the same with CurseForge and just click install. Then you'll have curse forge downloaded and installed as well :)

It says "java runtime environment is either missing or out of date" when I try to download a modpack. p.s I've never modded Minecraft before, I'm terrible with computers and in my foolishness I tried doing this without using a KZread tutorial so I changed the place where the mods get installed. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

when I downloaded a modpack the download just stopped at 42%, do you know why?

Probably didn’t have enough ram, I had a similar problem with dungeons dragons and space shuttles until I set the ram to 8 gigs

Same steps as shown in my video on How to Set Up an SMP. Except, instead of using paper, there's a link usually to download the server files for the modpacks provided on the modpack page on the CurseForge client :) There are sometimes extra steps involved as well, but I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials that will show you how to set that up to your liking! :) Hope that gives you an idea of how it works though.
