    It seems that the real secret is a very stable embouchure.

    I tend to agree.. I play saxophone and the clarinet seems to be a whole different instrument.. at least for me.. your embroshure really has to be on the money

    @@pgroove163I started on the clarinet and later picked up the saxophone and had the same sentiment. I really have to consciously keep my throat open and remind myself I'm not playing a clarinet.

    fitst, try to get a decent attack using "ga" ( the back of your tongue ) then, practice slowly just on one sound in the middle register. ( I did it with G ) then start connecting two notes using the " da ga" attack. G and F for example after that you will probably be able to use the double tongue in the lower register, then add tempo, then slowly move up , ( it will take some adjustments )

  • @Mauriziobarenboim

    @Mauriziobarenboim

    Clara Cie Basically when you tongue the reed once with the tongue then use the back of your tongue to stop the air then let it go. So instead of using the same spot on the tongue you use two different parts of the tongue.

    NOT helpful AT ALL! It would help a lot if you described AND demonstrated the mechanics. Also, how to build speed with control. Otherwise, I'll need to search for a more efficient and understandable video. Thanks
