I'm happy you liked the video! ☺Mason jars are a wonderful idea! I considered them for a while and I had also saved up quite a few jars that I washed and planned to reuse. Unfortunately, I have issues with my hands that prevented me from using them for most of my ingredients. I have nerve pain and swelling that can get irritated easily by gripping and twisting lids often. So between sauce bottles and pantry items, that would be a lot of lid twisting haha I agree though, the bamboo containers are probably not as air tight, but they are more accessible for me to use on a daily basis. I'm happy that I haven't noticed any ingredient spoilage in the year since the pantry has been organized though. We do run a dehumidifier in the rainy months which probably helps. I think organizing would have been much faster without filming haha I tried the Bundaberg drinks recommended in your pantry organization video. They are delicious! I purchased the blood orange flavor, but I would like to try others as well. Thank you for watching the video ☺ Have a nice day ❤

Did you complete all this work in one day? I can only imagine how much money it cost to get all of these containers and organizers but if it was my pantry, I'd open the doors every day just to look at how beautiful it looks; maybe several times a day 😂 i want those purple gloves and that bottle of kahlua 😂😂😂

Hi, there! I had been planning my pantry organization for several months until it worked it’s way into the budget haha I slowly bought containers and it did cost a bit of money but for my cooking habits it is 100% worth it for me. So if you count all the preparations, it definitely took many days 😂 Everything has a place and a space now, so I save so much time and energy when cooking. I think it might be getting close to paying for itself at this point since the amount of dining out we do is significantly decreased. I still think to myself “why didn’t I do this sooner?” 😂 It’s made cooking much more enjoyable ☺️ And I definitely opened it to look at it more than once after it was organized 😂 The gloves are by Playtex by the way! Love the pantry! It is really neat and clean. Looks like it is going to be easy to find ingredients. My pantry is such a mess. Half the time, I don't even remember if I have a certain ingredient or i simply cannot find it.

Cute video - I need to look into making powdered sugar now! You can make your own brown sugar as well. I do this when I only need small quantities and don't have any on hand - you just need about 1Tbsp molasses for every 1cup of granulated sugar (up the molasses to make it dark brown).

Hi, thank you for watching! ☺️ Yes, I do know them by sight but I have a labeling system as well just in case I forget anything (which is definitely possible 😉), expiration dates, and to remember which brands I previously bought. If you would like to check out the labeling system, I explain it and show the labels at the end of the video. I was wondering, after you vacuum seal the bags of spices and flours and put them in the freezer, how do you use them later, when you need it? Do you take them out the night before and let it "defreeze" (I don't know the right word) or can you use them straight away? Thank you in advance!

Hi, thank you so much for watching! ☺️ For any powders like flour or seasonings, you can use them right away! They will just feel cool to the touch, but they won’t clump since there’s no moisture. When I want to refill a canister with them, I remove the outer vacuum seal bag and let it come to room temperature. This makes sure that the cold powder won’t cause any condensation in the container I decant them into and get damp. Hope this helps! Have a nice day ❤️

Hahaha Ummmmmm I think she means the font on your canisters!! I don’t think you can decide on the captions each person uses on their computer only they can do that. ???? But I could be wrong ! I just know I always do my own captions. 💖 good video, but the noise of the contents when you were putting things in the baskets was a little too loud😱😱😱

Ciao, grazie per la visione. Per gli ingredienti nella dispensa principale, le date di scadenza vanno da 1 a 4 anni, quindi avremo tutto il tempo per mangiare tutto prima che si verifichi una perdita di qualità. Cucino spesso e preferisco tenere la dispensa sempre rifornita. Riduce il carico mentale derivante dall’acquisto di cibo, dalla pianificazione delle cene e dal provare nuove ricette di cucine diverse. Mi piace imparare nuove ricette, ma può essere difficile se non hai a portata di mano gli ingredienti di base necessari di diverse cucine. Quando vado a fare la spesa, in genere ho solo bisogno di acquistare prodotti freschi e latticini per integrare ciò che già ho. Non è stato acquistato nulla per questo video. Era già il cibo che avevo nei miei armadietti e che usavo. C'erano alcuni articoli appena riacquistati che stavo rimandando l'apertura perché non avevo ancora abbastanza spazio per conservarli. Fortunatamente la nuova organizzazione della dispensa mi permette di utilizzare tutto subito e di divertirmi. Buona giornata.

Hi, thank you for watching ☺️ it looks almost exactly the same! The only changes are a few ingredients that I no longer buy and a few new ingredients that I do. I show bits and pieces of the upkeep in my other vlogs. The vlog I can think of off the top of my head that shows upkeep of both the main pantry and snack pantry in the same video is the vlog “Organize little by little”. I think keeping the long term cooking ingredients separate from the snacks helps a lot. Have a nice day!

Don’t worry, none of it has gone to waste. It’s almost been completely cycled through by now. Anything that hasn’t been eaten is still well within the expiration date. I cook often and I do not live alone. I also host for holidays and cook a lot for guests. Thanks for watching ☺️
