This video just changed my life! There is absolutely nothing I like less than working the initial crochet chain and then fighting to get my hook into each individual link in the chain to make the first row. This technique combines the two steps, it's so much easier, and is really quite brilliant! Thank you so much for sharing.

I might add that a white or contrasting background would help. Also, to go into what to do with the circle piece that we start with. You are awesome thank you for hearing my plea.

After you turn, before you do each double crochet, do you keep chaining one?

I found it hard to follow as the video is dark and couldn't see what you were doing half the time sorry....I want to learn this but could not follow it cause you need more light.
