This is such an ingenious solution. Thanks a ton for this! I am replacing the whole front end on my jeep this weekend and need to be able to get my toe in at least halfway decent. This will help tons.

I just purchased the exact same metal yard sticks at Walmart lol. I planned on mounting them on the wheels them tape measure the front side of rotor and back side to get the difference then adjust accordingly to specs. I'm going to be installing a mess of parts, ball joints, control arms, sway bar links with new Moog springs and a RC 1.5" cheap lift. I only need to get the alignment close to drive it to the shop to dial it in properly. Thanks for the video on how you do it.

I love this. I always hated having to take my tires off, etc. now all I have to do is jack her up to spin the adjuster sleeve.

Easiest way to align your tow is to use a 2x4 with 2 one foot 2x4's nailed to each side. stand it up so one of the 2x4 is touching one of the tires measure distance from other two by four to the tire then slide the two by four to the back of the tire. rinse repeat. what ever the distance difference is will be your tow in or out.

Many do not know, that toe-in measurement is measured at a specific height, for example, 7in off ground...front and back. Not at the very front of tire, at axle height...

Thanks for the info Ronnie. Helpful as usual. I just got done putting a zone 3 inch lift on my 95. Bumped it an extra inch with pucks and a little longer shackle. Just came in from putting on a rough country track bar and pitman arm, and just clicked the purchase now button for a set of lower control arms. Thanks for all of your useful information.

That steering linkage looks like ironrock otk?? I caught your other video of why you put put cross bar above steering knuckles I have the ironrock otk and it installs this way. Also I have my toe in 1/8 but after thinking about it the beefyness of the linkages and the fact it uses hiem joints should have less deflection than stock . I am thinking I may split the difference and go to 1/16 toe in or may try for neutral toe and watch for tread wear.

Hey ronnie, 3 of my tires are great, my driver side front always wears 10x faster with a 16th toe in, any idea what would cause that or what I could to to fix or at least help it.

If you have an inverted y-link your passenger front may be at a different toe as the driver front will adjust toe only to the drag link on the driver side front. Also if you're experiencing excessive wear on the inside of the tires you may have a camber alignment issue which you can correct with offset upper ball joints. I'm not saying this is your problem but it may give you a starting point. Good luck.

How good are your ball joints and hub bearings..on the tire/wheel that is getting excessive wear? As Brandon mentioned, it could very well have a camber issue, due to worn parts, or slightly bent axle housing..
