I wouldn't recommend washing with short hair, if you have a fresh cut....wait atleast 2 weeks or you will lose progress. Now if your waves is set, meaning you been waving for awhile and you have nappy(low curl length) hair you might can get away with it. But any other hair texture I would wait atleast 2 weeks
