Get after it and you'll be able to do it too." Do you realize how awesome that is?! So much love and gratitude. I really appreciate this channel.

What I noticed that really helped on the full slide was sliding both feet. If you're going left, your right foot is on its toe and you slide your left foot as you push down. Then, after you pivot, you slide your right foot to close space back to the left before putting your right foot on its toe again.

You know when you are watching a master because they make very difficult things "look" easy even though they are not. I had this comfort level on a skateboard doing nose wheelies for example like I was walking. John is right it takes repetition and one day the magic happens and you "get it".

@Midwest Boxing there is no one I can think of who's glides are as CLEAN as poppin john. Not a single person, maybe some people that have more glides but not cleaner. So yah you are learning from the master, making the Micharl Jordan analogy a good one. I've been dancing for 13 years, drop some clips of people with more seamless glides cuz I cant think of any.

@Midwest Boxing I didnt say he started it, just that he has the cleanest glides of anyone I can think of, making the guys analogy a fair one. And I'm Israeli lol.

@@Section8dc Have you ever heard of Michael "boogaloo shrimp" chambers? or Jeffery Daniels? not even Michael Jackson can touch these guys when it comes to dancing they taught Michael Jackson how to moonwalk, popping, locking and various other dances he performed the hell you talking about "not a single person can glide as clean as john"?

@Midwest Boxing Nobody talked about starting, who introduced the step or not ... the analogy talks about receiving classes from someone very famous and renowned in the area. Football is English and there are countless amazing black players. At no time did anyone say that he invented something. I disagree with the comment of who said that he would be the only one with such a good glide, when you have Lyle Beniga, Twins Brothers, Michael Jackson etc.
