They look really good. Self-taught braider as well. I remember when I did layer feed in braids for the first time. You really couldn't tell me nothing 😂😂 but it does take patience and practice!

Your hair turned out great I definitely agree that mirror is a game-changer for doing your own hair I have the five way with the light and oh my God I also have a braiding rack and the right tools definitely make a difference I recently bought my own Clippers to keep my sides and back cut as well and you do get better with time my braids have definitely improved over the years can't wait till my cut improves recently started doing that over the last couple of months😅
