Thanks for showing this and sharing your craftsmanship with us modelers. In my previous posts I have mentioned that I want to model an Industrial park. Since I'm planning to use a lot of heavy equipment and not modeling any neighborhood like Mr Rogers, I'm planning on having most of the driving surfaces finished with limestone fines and gravel, then sprayed down with brine. Brine hardeneds the surface and is great for dust control. I'm thinking of having just a two lane paved surface near the end of the layout so that I can spot loaded center beam flat cars. Then concrete ramps up against the warehouses. You also mentioned trees, in the past BITT needed a place to eat and also needed a ramp for off loading materials from the end of cars, like wood chip cars or heavy equipment with wheels from flat cars. BITT found a WWll troop kitchen car, had it brought up to today's cafe standards, they placed it at the end of house track number 2, across the road, then removed the rail in the road and placed a retired flat car ahead of the paved roadway. I'll have picnic tables for those that aren't on the run and some shade trees located by the diner, maybe three to five shade trees. Well, I can't wait to see your next video, and thanks for sharing this with us fellow modelers. .

Excellent scenery work! marklinofsweden does have a static grass video guide on KZread that shows how to use different sizes and color mixes that you could incorporate into your layout to keep your ground cover from appearing uniform. You're doing a great job. Can't wait to see what you've worked on in your next video.
