The products are not necessary to achieve the style... simple water can be used to get the curls.... products eventually cause buildup in locs

Oh sis… edge control in your locs will cause extreme build up over time that stuff will get stuck in your locs. Over time the natural oil and dirt from the air that catches in your hair will change color and won’t be a good look in your locs. I’ve had mine 17 years. I know what I’m talking about. Plus the weight of that product in your hair as it grows will thin your locs out bad. Queen plz do some acv rinses frequently to get all that product out of your beautiful locs 😧

That’s what I was thinking! I was just going to use mousse and Taliah Waajid. When I do my edges, I only put the edge control on my baby hairs cause my hair holds so much product and lint 😩. I even cut all my locs off in the back because I had so much lint in them.

Baby don’t use those products you’re beautiful you’re locs will not stay on your head they will be rock hard and break away little by little DANGER 😢
