3 different ways to start off your pin curls!
P.S. the flat pin curls are the more appropriate choice when vs the raised pin curl method when preparing to your curls for bedtime

    Omg was it har to do?? I’m trying today first time haha and I hope that they are ok as I think I may struggle at the back I’ve seen ppl curl with iron and then pin it and leave to set and when they take out they brush and style it and the curls stay in apparently so we shall see

    THANK YOU! So easy and to the point; great job! *A little history for everyone...pins curls have been around for decades. Our ansestors were using this method way back when they couldn't afford the curlers or the fancy hair salons. This was an affordable and simple way of making their hair look fabulous!

    Your video was the best of all of the pin curl tutorials. You third technique for the pin curl was the easiest for me. My hair is simply gorgeous.

    I think pin curls work better on damp hair because it takes a long time for your hair to dry when it is curled and you need the hair to be completely to dry before you take them out of the curls for the hair to hold. Best to set the hair at night before bed and let it dry overnight, also if your hair is hard to curl (like mine is, even doing overnight my hair does NOT hold curl well) use some setting lotion in your hair when styling

    Thank you so much for this tutorial! i just got a long weave and I didnt want to have to curl it every morning. Last night I tried to pin curl it and it came out awful...and took me an hour. This evening after I watched your video I tried technique number 3 and it was so much easier and my pin curls are so much more secure. I cant wait to see how they come out tomorrow morning. Thanks!     I've never seen that 2-finger method of rolling, I'm definately trying that instead, as my fine hair sometimes just doesn't hold trying to curl it inbetween my fingers - thanks very much!

    I'm a white woman I prefer the start at base and twist method.m not at bottom was taught by a grandmother whose was a 50s housewife how to pin curl! In fact it used to be something housewives would go to the salon like once a week to have their pin curls set! Lol

    Do this pin curls when your hair is 30% dry ? :) Damp hair NOT soaking wet :)

    I don't use hand lotion! I either use a teeny bit of conditioner or Fekkai smoothing cream. My hair is very dry and color-treated, and this these products give me soft curls without greasiness.

    My teacher told us to comb gel through the section, place two fingers at the root and wrap the hair around our fingers, then pin it in place with a pin curl clip. But we have to make sure to stay with the stem of the room. (She never explains that part no matter how much I ask)

    it might be because in the next morning your hair stil was wet so what u shoul have done is use the blow drier thats why.
