    Thank you so much, I was looking at videos of this and was unable to do it. I had a hunch that my mistake was not pressing the buttom at the same time as the last forward and you really helped a lot. Cheers!

    Watched another video that said the 1-4 buttons need to be pressed exactly one frame after the last forward, not before and not after. Great video though. I think it still helps one figure out the timing

    If you freeze the video at 04:36 (the second CD into ISW) you can see the 2+4 buttons are right under the F which shows they've been inputted on the exact same frame. Regardless of whether we're going to quibble over a 60th of a second, all I can say is I know I've landed it if I know/feel that I've pressed the forward and the 1-4 buttons at the exact same time. That said, I can only say what works for me! X¬D

    @@beigemaster I do believe op is right, your second wave dash into isw has 3 f inputs and then f+2+4 1 frame after (total 4f inputs). The first f is the end of your crouch dash. I learnt this before from a different video also and if i try to do 2 f inputs followed by f+2+4 (same frame) i never get the shining wizard. 1 frame later it always works. No offense, i enjoy your video's bro, just discovered your channel.

    @@hmd3008 no worries, I don’t claim to be an expert! All I can say is when I feel like I’ve hit the final F+1-4 exactly together then it works, but Im not going to quibble over a 60th of a second!

    @@beigemasterkzread.info/dash/bejne/X5mYz8awj8_Tobg.html Not your fault that you think they should be pressed at the same time. Tekken 7 input history doesn't show the exact frames which is deceiving, this video shows that it's actually one frame late.

    3:23 not 3+4 2+4 or 1+3 for isw also I know you corrected it later just saying. isw is not good after doing jab string because jab strings are either - on block which passes your turn and isw falls slow for jab or df1 checks or dangerous themselves. Lastly, it is not wise to tell new players to use throws. In fact wise thing is to tell them to stay away from them because of online and throws being and I mean it a literal cheat move online. Also 1 more error. Even in point blank range iwr doesn't need to be a just frame at the end meaning you can press the attack button in more than 1 frame. The reason is even in point blank running state, the running state lasts couple frames. If it was just frame trust me it would be MUCH harder and would resemble df2 pewgf of kazuya. Timing is very strict as you mentioned but not as strict as you make it out to be. Hopkick practice is not really a good idea because first forward is bufferable especially with the ff n f+ method because with hopkick you can buffer f do a small n press f to start dash and do a very small n again and follow with f to enter running state.

    " Lastly, it is not wise to tell new players to use throws. In fact wise thing is to tell them to stay away from them because of online and throws being and I mean it a literal cheat move online." So, what you're saying is if you're new to Tekken and you can only play online, you shouldn't play King, Armour King who are literally grappler archetypes? Throws are a core mechanic of this game, lag/bad connections effect the entire gameplay and not just limited to throws, try to duck and punish a backlash with anything slower than 13f on a bad connection or good luck knowing when to SS, low parry or duck the avalanche of string cheese that many of the cast of access to on a WiFi matchup. BandaiNamco need to fix the ongoing issue with season 4's net code that went from being pretty ok to terrible over it's lifespan, I don't think telling new players what they should or shouldn't be allowed to use online is particular helpful. Your other points are welcome although I think you are being a bit pedantic- I didn't say (for example) that I meant after a BLOCKED jab string, King's and AK's 2,1 is plus 7 on hit, King's 1,2,1 on CH is +10, so plenty of time to go for a throw!

    @@beigemaster Hmm so you want the detailed explanation 1) Grapplers are not an "archetype" in tekken. In no level of play a grapple is a legitimate %50 %50 unlike other fighting games because they are designed to be reaction speed and knowledge tests. Reaction speed test in this context means how much attention opponent is paying not the actual Reaction speed of the individual as almost anyone can break throws in offline. 2) The reason why grabs are cheatin in online is a simple biomechanics, intended gameplay and math problem. Grapples are i12 startup and i28 reaction (meaning 28 frame window to break) Average reaction speed of a human is 25f Average delay in tekken is more than 7 frames Thus throws give 21 frames of reaction which makes them a legitimate %50 %50 tools DESPITE being not designed as such which is an unearned advantage by definition cheating. 3) Lag effects whole game sure" however" there are some mechanics that change completely. All reaction speed test moves in online are by definition cheating because they not only don't fulfil their purpose but act as a busted alternatives of intended mechanics like pokes and legitimate %50 %50s and pressure tools. The issue you don't get is that if I can do an unblockable %50 %50 high that comes out at 12 frames and safe on block why the fuck would i ever use any other high? It simply kills the whole gameplay. This is why from red ranks to tekken king rank it is a throw spam fiesta in online because virtually nobody can defend it even if they know how to break throws due to genetic barrier. You literally need to be genetically in the same level as Knee and have 21f reaction speed to do it and even that would work BARELY. 4) "BandaiNamco need to fix the ongoing issue with season 4's net code that went from being pretty ok to terrible over it's lifespan, I don't think telling new players what they should or shouldn't be allowed to use online is particular helpful." Well, I disagree. Do you know why? Because as community we can balance the game if we stick together against bullshit. For example in Pakistan they banned fahk on release from tournaments. That is how a community should work detect bullshit and remove it. In tekken 6 I believe raven had an infinite wall combo and it was banned. Now do you think it is wise to tell new players to go learn infinite wall combo make other new players life worse and because it will become meta overall kill the ranked in tekken6 or would it be more reasonable if content creators, influencers and basically everyone agreed to just not do it because it is cheating by definition. 5) Other points are just feedbacks for you to improve on as "concept" of teaching new players as a new player who is learning is a good one. If you have any problem with a certain tech you can always come to me btw and I will try to help you understand the tech. I believe, I do an ok job at explaining the techs I showcase if requested but doing overall guides is quite a lot of work and there is a big part of community I hate that focuses on how to abuse bullshit instead of learning fundamentals and improvement of combos and stuff like that.

    @@ozimantv Always appreciate the time and effort to respond, even though there's a few things in there I respectfully disagree with, it's always positive I think to see well constructed and polite feedback. The real irony when it comes to throws is actually even though I'm a King main, I rarely rely on them when playing King (check my King Red to Purple run if you think I'm BS'ing!) because in lower ranks, it's actually hard to throw an opponent that is constantly constantly pressing buttons which is what my experience was with Dans to Orange, so I never really used they're just not really part of my muscle memory! Maybe they're more effective in the higher ranks when people begin to stop being quite so aggressive- but the most "spamable" move I had with King to get him to purple was FC DF2 (-14 on block) because people never punish it- and when you have a high damage mid launcher with THAT range, if it doesn't get punished then its basically a cheat button!

  • @ozimantv

    @ozimantv

    @@beigemaster You see the reason why you have issue with throwing is that you dont know how to shut down the offence of the opponent and make them respect your turn. Like I play with low level players with my side chars( I have like 10 side chars) and its all about movement and evasion. You cant expect them to respect you out of the gate you need to make them play the way you want them to play. Also use throws when opponent is -6 or above they cant press normal buttons and if they press dick jab then next time in the same situation low parry the dick jab for example. Using throws is hard if your offence and poke fundamentals are weak. Also i never claimed (in this comments) that you abused bs personall as teaching someone bullshit and doing yourself are not the same thing. Physics teachers dont do physics science for example. The %50 you talk about is actually weak because if i am letting you come close and duck then i am a bad player just kbd or ss out of there

  • @beigemaster

    @beigemaster

    Жыл бұрын

    I might make a vid on this- basic "Tekken Terms" but "neutral" is when both players are basically in the same state- so neither person has particular frame advantage or has started a combo, so it tends to be when both players are using basic jabs or DF1s or pokes to try and get an advantage over the other- neutral ends when someone either gets a counter hit, launchers or lands a move with a lot of frame advantage.
