Thank you so much for sharing how to do this process. There’s people on TikTok doing it and none of them will answer my questions. I’m so glad I found this video. You did an excellent job explaining in layman’s terms.
I've been watching your videos for about 2+ years working towards finishing this stryfe mod. You're into has been invaluable. Yourself and a couple other content creators (coop, I think and another I can't recall by name) have been of great to help me.. Thank you all so much

You've done a good tutorial. You have a way of putting things into terms easy to understand and very descriptive. You're a natural teacher/instructor.

Awesome tutorial! Can't wait to put it to use on some new projects.

Drac those are amazing!!! nice!!!
Watched this vid years ago man it brings back memories
these designs are amazing!!
Very nice! Thank you for sharing!
dude, golden video!!! thank you!!!
What if I use krylon paint+primer spray paint instead of automotive paints. It says it will adhere to plastic and I'm going to sand the plastic anyway and clean so the paint has something to adhere to. Do you think this would allow the film to stick onto the paint? The color is going to be flat white from krylon. Also, how's that clear coat holding up?
WoW, to you sir... I care nothing about toy nerf guns , but i am however interested in the process of hydrodipping. I just wanted to let you know that, that was a rather exceptional "How to Video" Very informative and at a nice pace not to lose interest. good work! can this be done to real guns? where do you get the film and actuator spray?

Like Crazy can it be done on things that get hot like a car turbo for example? Or would it just burn away

VELENO156 i dont know but if spraypaint would burn then this type of hydrodip would burn aswell
Thank you for over-explaining
man. I really like all your videos, but this one was unexpectedly awesome
Great video Drac
Love the vids drac keep it comming
Yass, been waiting for this for awhile
did you have to sand anything and if so what grit sandpaper?
If you’re not bothered about specific patterns and just some coloured swirls is fine for you then just spray paint into the water. Prep’s a lot easier.
dood, these are incredible!
A Stryfe named Vorpal with a dragon scale pattern? Awesome Jabberwock reference there to the commissioner who had this done.

can these be done on plastic drinking glasses too? and will it stay sense t cup will be washed
Well done! Thanks!
question is it necessary to spray that hydrographic activator or can you do it with out ? thank you I'm doing power coating and this Hydro dipping has got my attention also...
Good job, picked up tape trick here, wondering how to keep from spreading
Thank you for your nice details video
The blue one is so bad asss!!!!!!!
Hey drac quick question. How would this apply to gaming controllers? would the clear coat be too glossy to hold properly? would NOT using clear coat mess up the pattern? what would you recommend to do differently? if anything at all
That was very informative ...
Hey drac, i know this isn't pertaining specifically to hydro dipping but how would you go about restoring a close to ruined stryfe shell and then prepare it to hydro dip?, By the way that mosaic looking film looks amazing.
Hi There! Looks fine! Right now i don't know whats happening, but i take the part out of the water, i can't see the pattern, but the film is sticked to the part :( Do you know why is that happening? It's like my pattern is dissapearing... Thanks in advance
Hey Drac, I wanted to know what you sprayed onto the film before dipping the item.
Good Video, My question to you is, if I have a plastiv part that is the correct base color i want, can I lightly etch the plastic with Very fine Glass Bead in which i do yo my pre prep on a paint job og a model R/C airplane,. Question being is the surface prp as discribed going to be a good contact and take surgace for the hydro diping. Next, I heed a Clear coat that is almost equilivant to Automotive grade clear acrylic. will that eat the Print design in light coats? And actually how long do you wait if you are going to use a chear coat over the print design? Any guidance will be highly appreciated. Respectfully, Jim "P" Jenuine-motor
What you spraied on hydrographics before starting to put details in water?
the third stryfe reminds me of taken from destiny. can you do a taken inspired blaster?
Dear Lord: Really good video!
thank you for the video but what's the spray u used on the film ? can I have the name of that?
WOW man ty for the how to!!!
Mom's going to love those razor cuts in the flooring.

I think that thread banger needs to see this
When doing an inside job like a RC truck body the "water side" would have to be up. does this make a difference?
a way to keep your temps right could be a heat mate. look up vivosun reptile heat mate you can get one with a thermostat to set the temp and heat the water from 70 to 100+
so do i need to prime it first? whats the black vinyl dye for or the enamel paint?
Did you prime them or anything first, I'm attempting to do this for my pc case and just need to know Is there anything I need to know do I need to spray the case with anything when I dip it
When did you add the oil to the water and how much? Also what were you spraying onto the film when it was sitting in the water
awesome job!!
Is that a Dark Drinker from Destiny I spy in the background of the clear coat section? If so I'm hyped for a video on it.
i just told my little cousin about how that was a stryfe and how you painted it and he said "oh that beard guy?" i almost died!!!

the vesper was my favorite! this is an awesome tutorial.
do you know if you can use an iron to smooth out air bubbles, I tried to dip my blaster and there were bubbles everywhere
Just asking, can you dip a stock colored stryfe and it will look just like the third one (given that we are using the same film)?
how long do you let it sit when you spray the activator till you dip
nice video, thank you. I wanna dip my Sinden light guns

+LordDraconical drac how much water do you need
Hey, I know this was ages ago. But can you tell me if you had to do an undercoat or not for the film to stick?
i'm trying to put some stuff like this on a controller- how does the finisher sealant feel? if it's sticky or whatever it'd kinda ruin a controller.
awesome video
Hi Thanks for vid. Can please supply the product brand name for the Activator? Thx gG
Techoblade?? Also amazing video thanks needed help hydro dipping
just curious , at time 6:10 you use a spray can , what is in the spray can and what's the purpose of using it ?
you are a saint drac my modded longshot will be so easier to do now
so what im understanding is the finger sticky side goes down on the water? or does it go up? im a little lost, i would have figured the sticky side is what you want first on the item youre dipping?
Hi Drac what hydrographic film did you use for the senguin 😅
hye bro, u r doing a nyc job, I jxt hav 2 questions, 1st, from where(online) I can buy this film? 2nd, the sticky side goes upward or downward in tank? waiting for ur rply*
Vesper is amazing. I think I'm going to try and make something very similar

With what did you spray the water when you put the film on it ??
Well I would like to know why you used a spray of a sort when the crytex film was in the box of water. what was that spray can you used. a bonding agent...? I am not referring to your laquering.
Do you have to spray the film with whatever it is you sprayed it with ? (Also what was the spray??)
do you think i can do this on a chrome bumper? i was thinking about doing it in kryptek typhoon.
do you wet sand and polish the clear coat when done?
Are the red trigger/door/barrel on the Sanguine custom made or painted?
would it be less likely to bubble up if u also sprayed the activator evenly on the part before u dip?
what is that you spray on the film before you dip the item?
First how long do you wait after spraying activator to dip and second were did you get the film.
what are you spraying on the film while it is in the water?
thanks this helped alot
What are you spraying on the film once it's in the water?
very nice of you to customize your kid brothers toy guns!
what do you spray the film with when it's in the water
Do I need to do anything to my xbox controller to hydrodip it? I saw other videos where they buff and spray other stuff on the item before dipping it. Thank you.
Which did you get the vampires hydrographic films from
what did you spray the film with before you dipped?
