I just tried to practice this and the chrome got on the base color a lot too and it was hard getting off without messing up the smile line. How did your powder barely stick to the base color? I buffed as well after filing.

Use a matte top coat over the base color and fully set, then go back with the shiny no wipe top coat to make the tip. The chrome won’t stick to the matte top coat.

After use,clean very well with paper, no acetone, no alcohol. Put the brush into box,or cover the brush very well every time use it, 👍

I love this so much. Just a question, does the chrome not stick to the rest of the nail because it was buffed? I would want to do this over a builder gel nail. Should I buff the builder and not apply top coat until after I have done the chrome tip? Dzieki 😉

Use fine buffer before so chrome don't get stuck on scratches

I wonder if one couldn't put a tiny bit of white gel polish into the top coat, just to make it easier to see.

I wish. As Patryk is my husband name. Unfortunately to late now 💔😭 I will do next year for sure. I'm really gutted now. Had surgery so not able to do it on time. If miracle happens I will as really wish do nice set for his name.
