i had the same problem just make sure you hold down the sprint the entire time cause if not it’ll do a layup

Something is messed up with my 2k22. Got all my finishing dunk badges, 94 dunk rating, bought and equipped different dunks in my dunk style creator. But my guy just keeps doing the stupid reverse two hand windmill no matter what. I don’t even have that dunk equipped. My guy never does anything else. No 360. No tomahawk, no cradle, no Jordan dunks, etc. Only dunk he does when I do fancy (right stick down), is that stupid windmill reverse. No idea what is wrong with 2k22. No one else seems to have this problem.

Bro I don’t know if u gonna see this but Yh same thing is happening to me right now it’s so dumb,I bought different park dunk animations and it doesn’t work even with the right stick and it’s annoying because there are no ur vids at all that show how to fix it so dumb 💀

@@uncle4286 I figured it out on my own. Looked it up everywhere but no one had this same problem except for one other guy. This is what you have to do: UNEQUIP ANY SIGNATURE DUNK PACKAGES. Because I had Jordan equipped, it would not do any other dunks other than the stupid windmill reverse.

@@uncle4286 Are you on current or next gen? I’m on Next Gen. When I took off all signature dunk packages and went to the Training Facility to try to dunk, it finally started doing different dunks when I launched from different parts of the court. Both the dunks with the X and the right stick down fancy dunks.

baseline dunks all seem to not work. everything is equipped but my guy just does a reverse layup instead and I'm definitely holding turbo the whole time. smh

It highly depends on your builds' strength, height and athleticism. I had the same problem with my PG build but my 2.10 metres tall PF can do it

@@thereaperr_9119 I ended up figuring out how to get them to work on all my builds that can dunk. They all have 92 driving dunk and higher so I knew they should be able to do baseline dunks. What I had to do with all of them was unequip the baseline dunks and back out of the animations then re-equip them and the animations finally worked. I don't know why but that was the case consistently for all 5 of my builds that had high dunking.

If you have the package out it right under the one that says *go to dunk package * and hold down on the right stick and youll do something cool I do 360s A lot

Not my guy for sum reason it only starts contact dunks

My player can do basic dunks but he cant do any windmills or 360s

Doesn't work for me, maybe the game is broken but I did spend one hour doing the tutorial and also watched many KZread videos and still does not work. I just want to do a simple dunk

I can say that I tried almost a thousand times! That's why I say maybe the game has bug something. I tried with sprint, in different timing, before starting moving, after moving, at the same time, before the line, after line, and on the line. I gave up, and uninstall the game.
