How to do data analysis using AI with ChatGPT and the Noteable plugin

not really. You still have a good leg up. There will be a greater need, however with fabric and co-pilot I foresee a combining of the roles such as DS,DA, DE, etc. For the foreseeable future there is a need for technical/domain oversight.

You need to give it very specific instructions. You have to give it so much information to do things. AI at this point in time is not capable of ingesting large amounts of data. It can't give context to projects with 100s of files, all kinds of systems and integrations.

Data Analytics is obviously not going away. However, now that everyone with common sense is at least up to par with maybe a moderately advanced data analyst, it’s going to at least be extremely competitive. This won’t effect me too much bc I’ll still live a comfortable life but it’s def going to be 100x harder for newcomers.

We love seeing how you're using the plugin!
Thanks for taking the time to record this video and share it with the public, Chad! This could significantly increase our analysis performance using ChatGPT.
Thanks, Chad - welcome to KZread. Keep at it! Found this very useful.
This can be a game changer for data teams that don't have a lot of time to do cursory analyses of all of their data sources, especially in higher education. Excited to explore this further!
How simply you convey how insane all of this is getting. I'm in this space, but I could imagine even middle school kids just understanding data analysis thanks to you and ol' chatty bot. Thank you!
Really glad I found your channel. Thanks for the education and for sharing the data to follow along. (Had trouble getting it going but it is working now :) This is amazing.
Yes! More vids please! You’re better at this format than the vast majority of KZreadrs.
Your tutorial helped us sort through about a huge set of data points to extract significant data for business analytics. Also, Noteable folks (shout out to Dave) were extremely responsive to a couple of questions we had. Hope you keep doing more of these demos. Thanks a lot!
This stuff is blowing my mind. Complete gamechanger. Keep it up, Mr. Skelton. I find this presentation helpful (among other things) in how best to get my head around how these technologies will change society. What do you need a programmer for, if plain English (or Chinese, or Dutch, or Swahili for that matter) will generate code? More and more 'code' will be natural language. And the technology is getting better and better.
this tutorial is awesome, it helps me save time exploring concepts before going into the coding part.
Great stuff, hope you keep it up!

I am absolutely in love with ChatGPT. I use it for work where I'm a subject matter expert to do my grunt work producing bodies of text or brainstorming etc. sometimes just to refresh my memory. Since subscribing and using 4.0 I find I get less hallucinations, too. My only criticism (and it may be because I'm a SME) is it doesn't push back enough. I will occasionally ask it to critically analyse something which I know is wrong and it will often just go along with me instead of pushing back. Great video and like you, I'm extremely excited (and a tiny bit scared) about how this will supercharge the knowledge economy
Really informational, thank you

Great video and content, please continue, your information is so very helpful- thanks!
Very useful video. I first saw you yesterday while watching a Noteable webinar with Elijah, Noel, Alessandro, and Matt (I might have missed a couple of names here). I am not a techy myself; my background is in social science research (Comm Research), and I have been working in PR doing communication measurement and insights for the past 20 years. This Noteable plug-in will surely be a game-changer for non-techy/non-math people in PR (which I would guess is more than 60%). Am looking forward to your content. Jun

Thank you for the very useful demo. It was clear and I was able to begin using the plugin immediately with Kaggle datasets after watching. It is hard to imagine that ChatGDP was just released in November. I just don't think many people realize just how revolutionary this is. It is important to understand the coding, mathematics and principles behind it but for someone who does and someone learning it opens up possibilities. Arthur Conan Doyle - 'Data! data! data! he cried impatiently. I can't make bricks without clay.' Now you can make buildings. Its like buying a new woodworking tool and you want to find some scrap to test it with.

Great video, the analysis is kind of slow to process and inject the data and product simple analysis at speed, however your instructions are top notch, please keep producing more videos.
Great Video. I wonder if this could work if you upload some natural language data instead of a dataset. For example: Upload a txt file of some study and ask ChatGPT to read and understand the data, create dataset from it and the visualize it.

I can't thank you enough.
I setup the same as in this video and asked chatGPT to explain the data to me like an organized crime boss. This is the response: Alright, listen up. Here's the lowdown on this bike theft business. First off, we got a timeline here, see? The number of bike heists ain't constant over the years. There's some years where the business is booming, and others where things are quiet. You gotta keep an eye on the trends, see? Timing is everything in this business. Next, we got the territory. This ain't a one-district operation. The thefts are spread out, but some districts are hotter than others. You gotta know where the action is. But remember, the more action, the more heat. You don't wanna attract too much attention. Finally, we got the schedule. This ain't a 9-to-5 job. The thefts happen all hours of the day. But there's some hours where the business is brisker. You gotta know when to strike. Remember, this ain't no game. This is a business. And in business, knowledge is power. You gotta know the landscape, the timing, and the territory. Only then can you run a successful operation. Got it? Good. Now get out there and make me proud.
Anyone can tell me if that would be the best setup to analyze Roulette spins made by a specific table? Also I'm trying to build the perfect prompt to get GPT to tell me the next number (within 6 chips) using that info, like an algorithm would. I've seen a few built that gives the exact number, but they won't share or sell.
Very helpful - thank you. Can this run statistical tests or analysis to generate p-values for statistical significant testing?

can I upload an image on chatgpt plus? I am thinking of subscribing to chatgpt plus. can it interpret an image graph? help pls

Not sure if you have an answer for this, but I've been trying to use Noteable as you've described here, but I almost always eventually get an error back from ChatGPT of either Network Error or "There was an error generating a response". This happens during the processing phases of the prompt, seemingly like it's timing out or something. Not sure if this is a ChatGPT issue or a Noteable issue. Thanks for a great video. I have tried to upload the same data file in both .csv and excel format. It's imported from google sheets. I have set the default project and the notable plugin finds the directory and all the files in it. i have set the visibility to open and the access to "owner". I always get this response from chatGPT: "I apologize for the confusion, but it seems there's still an issue with accessing the file. The file path might not be correct or the file might not be accessible due to permissions or other reasons." I did create my own file in notable with "abc123" in it. That data could be found by chatGPT. Any tips? :-)

I get that error sometimes too and, honestly, I just keep trying.
