Hello everyone, in this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to tie-dye boho hippie skirts with Reactive dyes method.
(Reactive dyeing is a method commonly used to dye natural fibers like cotton and rayon.)
I started by soaking skirts in soda ash.
Then tie the pattern as shown in the video.
And then, proceed to dye them, starting with the first side. I will apply black color.
For the other side, on the first skirt, I use brown, yellow, orange, deep pink, and purple colors.
For the second skirt, I use light green, yellow, terracotta orange, deep pink, and purple colors.
And then wrap with plastic and leave for at least one night.
Washing procedure, I rinsed off the dye in the first water, and then washed it with detergent. Then rinse thoroughly and add fabric softener.
