Welcome to part 1 of our FREE CAMPING SERIES! where we will be showing you some top FREE campsites in Victoria and things to do in the area! This series was inspired by the current climate of the world and wanting to show people that you can still get out and enjoy nature and have some pretty amazing spots, on a smaller budget!

There is also a free-flight aviary, animatronic dinosaurs, a children's fossil dig table, and a timber puzzle maze. Stroll along the raised walkway through native gardens and landscaped waterfalls. Cafe and Gift shop: Enjoy coffee, cakes, and slices, hot foods.

We’re Doug and Jamie - an aussie / american couple who love adventures, good food and exploring new places. For the past few years we have be using what we’ve had to explore more of Australia - which wasn’t much. But in 2020 we upgraded Doug’s work van and it now doubles as our home on wheels part time. 2022 was the year we decided it needed a makeover so we jumped into a big van build series over the winter, ready to hit spring in our new setup! Our hope for this channel is to grow a community of likeminded people and to inspire others to jump in the drivers seat of their own life (pun intended) and create their own magic. We love free camping, getting a spot is a risk, but often worth it. Caravan Parks are good as well

Agreed! It has almost always been worth it for us!! 🙌 We love using caravan parks from time to time esp when on the road for longer trips to top up and use the amenities! We find it really helps balance out with the free camps!

Talk about some gorgeous campsites, especially for boondocking! We have done some boondocking and I totally get how it can make you a little uncomfortable. It’s such a rush when you get a sweet spot though! This greenhouse/ coffee spot area is totally a cool vibe! You guys go and get those fish and chips and chill at that beautiful spot soon.

i know! the morning was just perfect with the horses! what an experience! and it does make scoring a sweet spot that much better!! it is SO beautiful around there! we definitely will be back!!

@@adventurewithdj nice!!! I’m excited to catch more of your low budget camping! Our next trip we have planned, for April will all be camping in a minivan.
I do free camp mostly, and avoid if possible the larger lake places that get crowded with morons. Also I hate folks who turn up late at night and drive around and around trying to get perfect spot!😁 Would love to catch up with you guys sometime, as I'm currently in Victoria, sort of around goldfields area.

We feel you on that!! We felt bad coming in at 9pm - and just wanted to get settled in a spot asap! Some people can be so annoying to camp near they act like they own the place 😂 and we would LOVE that!
