Thank you i have 3b 3c hair and its down to my mid back and wanted to do this style with my natural hair and just wasn't sure how to keep a piece of my hair loose while i twist since twisting my hair is more gentler and easier then braiding for my curls and it seems to lock in better for me in my opinion

I tried to get this and my stylist said it wasn’t working with my hair type. Does that mean she ain’t know how to do it right or I really can’t never get this style?

If you normally get your hair braided then I don’t see why your stylist would deem your hair unfit for this style. They probably don’t know how to do it. She starts out with a box braid… if your hair can support a box braid, I’m sure this style wouldn’t hurt anything.
