How To Do An Epoxy Dirty Pour On A Floor Using Leggari Metallic Epoxy From Beginning To End

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This floor was done using the epoxy dirty pour technique! You can do this directly over existing surfaces and transform your space in no time! If your floors need an update, order your kit today! All of our kits are DIY friendly and when you order from us you receive step by step tutorial videos that walk you through the process!
If you're interested in purchasing a floor kit check out our website:
leggari.com/floors/epoxy-floo...
Leggari Floor Kits were designed to transform your floors into something new and unique by coating your existing concrete, tile, or wood flooring. Floor Kits are fun and easy to install. You can have a designer floor that will last for decades in 2 days with our unique floor kits, custom made to your projects square footage.
Our Metallic Epoxy is a next-generation system that’s 100% pure solids using the finest raw materials that include proprietary additives for working time, thickness, flow, and marbleization that are vital when achieving our dynamic effects. Our Metallic Epoxy is a decorative, durable, and chemical resistant coating, available with a High Gloss or Matte Finish. If you can paint your flooring then you’re more than qualified to install a Leggari Floor Kit. Our Metallic Epoxy Floor System is leading the decorative resin industry for thickness, durability, and scratch resistance with our High Wear Top Coats.
Our Metallic Epoxy Floor System is the thickest, most durable user-friendly coating on the market hands down. Our floor kits go down at 45 square feet per gallon while our competitors are installing epoxy floor systems at a coverage of 60 to 120 square feet per gallon. When you install epoxy that thin you will never get the dynamic looks, flow, marbleization, and effects that our Metallic Epoxy System creates. When you choose our system you’re getting an industrial grade product with proprietary additives specifically designed to create longer working time before setting up. It will bond better, last longer, has higher scratch resistance, and it is 2x to 3x thicker than any other product available while still having competitive pricing. Order with confidence knowing you’re getting the best system available that has been tested and proven.
The process!
PREPPING THE SUBSTRATE OR SURFACE
One of the best ways to prep your surface is diamond grinding. You can rent concrete grinders at most rental stores. The next best way is using an etching chemical to etch the surface of the concrete. You can also sand the surface if the before mentioned methods can’t be done. If you can only prep minimally or can’t prep at all we have a Prep Replacement Primer to help achieve a strong bond. We always recommend prepping the concrete surface first.
Priming the floor is simple and fast. Mix your pre-measured primer then dip and roll the pigmented primer across the surface until the floor is completely pigmented. Wait 1 hr (or until tacky and not coming off to the touch) and start applying the Base Coat.
METALLIC EPOXY COAT
For this video, we used the dirty pour technique. We show you how we mixed it and how it's poured creating a beautiful natural look.
HIGH WEAR TOP COAT
We offer 2 different gloss sheens in our Urethane Top Coat. The Top Coat comes with the option to have a High Gloss or Satin Finish. It needs to be rolled out super thin and leaves a minor texture which gives it the extra durability. Apply it within 24 hrs of installing your floor kit or you will need to sand the surface before applying it.

You guys have great knowledge of your products, if you could hire someone with faux finishing experience, your jobs would be master pieces. In nature we don't have curvy veins, no Xs, remember jeometry is the enemy. You should never do a finish that someone can say,I know how you did this. Special effect is an art form. Color combination is extremely important. A fissure vein is the only vein that can go the opposite direction. The rest of the veins are sediments that were settled in layers, so they always go the same direction. Also, please, no U turns, they look so out of place.
