@@MissMcD Can't think of any national celebs but our local 'celebs' definitely rocked this. But in Detroit, late 80s, YASSS this was MY style. I was FRESH! 😂 We could only get hair up to 12" (there was no 14, 16, 18, 20+ lengths back then). The technique was different then also. I wish I could load my old pictures to show you. 😂😂

Yesss . Even waaayyy back when we was rockin high pony’s wit our real hair and callin em FAN PONYTAILS or TWPs (Teenie Weenie Ponytails) 😭 waab .

I am ashamed to report a massive fail when I attempted a similar look a client of mine showed me a picture of. Me, like a dummy, didn't really study the look and gave her a plain ponytail which obviously DID NOT give her this look. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Maybe my client will give me a chance to redeem myself.

The way u explain things and how u work makes EVERYTHING seems easy or at least doable. This is definitely gonna be next on my to "try" list. Stay tuned. Lol. Your technique is actually old skool weave and I love it 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 you ne doing the glue technique to PERFECTION. The connected cornrows for the weaves. 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 the shit don't look crazy as hell. You can lift your hair up with your hand and won't see the braids OR the tracks from the weaves either 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
