BK-Betrieb:
Wenn ich ein QSO beschleunigen möchte benutze ich die Abkürzung "BK" am Ende eines Durchgangs um Zeit zu sparen, um nicht lange das Rufzeichen der Gegenstation und mein Rufzeichen sagen zu müssen. BK hat jedoch eine andere Bedeutung. BK-Betrieb ermöglicht zwischen den gesendeten Zeichen hören zu können, es ist hierfür eine Einstellung am Transceiver erforderlich, heißt man kann sich gegenseitig "ins Wort fallen" während man sendet. Oder anders gesagt, während ich sende habe ich die Möglichkeit zwischen meinen Zeichen zu hören ob mir jemand Antwort gibt. Somit ist mein "BK" nicht 100% korrekt, jedoch weit verbreitet. Jeder Funkamateur versteht daß er nach einem "BK" am Ende des Durchgangs antworten kann. Nach über 30 Jahren als Telegrafist kam es bei mir deshalb NOCH NIE zu Missverständnissen oder sonstigen Problemen !!! Also bitte kein Problem und keine Wissenschaft daraus machen sondern ganz locker bleiben !!!
BK-Operation:
If I want to speed up a QSO, I use the abbreviation "BK" at the end of a round to save time and not have to say the call sign of the other station and my call sign for a long time. BK has a different meaning, however. BK operation allows you to hear between the characters sent. This requires a setting on the transceiver, which means you can "interrupt" each other while you are transmitting. In other words, while I am transmitting, I have the option of hearing between my characters to see if anyone is answering me. So my "BK" is not 100% correct, but it is widely used. Every radio amateur understands that they can answer after a "BK" at the end of the round. After more than 30 years as a telegraph operator, I have NEVER had any misunderstandings or other problems! So please don't make a problem out of it or make a science out of it, just stay relaxed!

Hello KQ3Q, thanks for your nice comment. For me, CW means being stress-free. When I telegraph, I always imagine where in the world my signal will arrive. My gaze often wanders over the world map. I always find that very relaxing. If you keep doing CW, you will automatically reach this level. I wish you lots of fun in CW. It is definitely worth learning it. Wish you best 73, Andy de DL6FA
Excellent Andy. I presume 10/12 wpm qsos are highly appreciated when above 14.050. Great contribution for newcomers Andy and those afraid getting on the air with CW!

Excellent QSO!! This was my favorite of all of the QSO that I have seen you post. I enjoy the faster ones as it is great practice and it is challenging for me as a newer op. This slower QSO shows that there are QSOs out there for slower ops and that some one that can really move quickly doesn't mind slowing down for someone like me.

Hello, I'm glad if you like this video. For me it is a matter of course to adjust the speed to the QSO partner. Every telegraph operator should do this. I know that's not always the case. Nevertheless, as a beginner you shouldn't be afraid of it. That's not embarrassing either. At best, it's embarrassing for those who don't show consideration. I hope you have fun learning. Hallo Andy. Sehr gutes Video. Hier zeigst Du mal, wie HAM-Spirit und Betriebstechnik geht. Gerade wenn CW Neueinsteiger kommen. Meistens kriegen die ein Tempo jenseits von 20WPM um die Ohren gehauen. Trotz QRS Bitte wird weiter im Tempo gegeben. Diese Erfahrung musste ich auch damals erleben, wie ich CW für die Aufstockung der Lizenz erlernen musste. So werden die OM's vergrault und legen die Taste für immer beiseite. Es geben ja auch spezielle QRS Runden. So behält man die Freude an der Betriebsart und wird dadurch sicherer im Sattel. Hallo Roger, wenn man solche Erfahrungen gemacht hat wie Du sie beschrieben hast darf man sich nicht einschüchtern lassen sondern muß mit der Einstellung "Jetzt erst recht" weitermachen. Niemandem darf das peinlich sein wenn er von der Geschwindigkeit nicht mitkommt, sondern demjenigen der keine Rücksicht nimmt. Aufgeben ist keine Option !!! Vielen Dank und viele 73, Andy de DL6FA
