Hi I just found your videos super helpful and easy, however I don't have the cut tool in Instagram. The scissors is not there to trim, I don't know with the updated app they moved the scissors. I can't figure it out in the edit

There is no scissors. You have to trim the clips from the beginning or end. If you want the cut tool you need another editing app.

I don’t have the feature align. Any idea how can I find it?
