I was asked if I could recreate the most talked about sequin boots worn by former First Lady, Michelle Obama. I was iffy about taking on the task because, believe it or not, I’ve never worked with sequins before let alone on a pair of boots.
But I just couldn’t resist another challenge and you only learn by doing am I right? In the process, I figured out how to make a boot pattern that has one seam. Let me know below what you think!

It took me some time to figure out ya'll but the Boots Pattern is now available for download 😁Link in the description.
when you got to the bit with the soles and you tucked it in then glued it, i was like "yess queen" best one yet
A whole year later and this is still THE BEST boot cover tutorial! They turned out amazing😍😍😍 I cant wait to get started!!!!
This is perfect not only for recreating expensive shoes, but for cosplay as well. This was a great tutorial!

Those look amazing! Love that you refashioned an old refashion! That's eco-fashion!
Now these, at this neutral color, are so much more beautiful that iridescent blue, red or whatever. Sequins itself is a bold enough statement. With a simple black skirt or gaucho pants etc these would slay. What you're wearing is beautiful. You got mad skills & you are the bomb girl.
so far this has been my favorite dyi of the Balenciaga. an the think thigh tip, AMAZING!! I LOVE THEM.
