@@matrixdude01 or you could make all 4 of them with 6$ worth of cord... also, those are plant holders, she made a grocery bag in the video.

@@AuroraLaurialisif you buy the a cheapest Cord (loosing quality at this point) you’re still looking at $4-5 per bag. That is definitely still better than paying $40/50, but the crafters time & effort is valuable too. 🤷♀️
This is the type of thing I would buy at a farmer market to put stuff I would buy at a farmers market in haha

Oh wow! I love this! I've been trying to cut out single-use plastics, and have a few reusable grocery bags. These would be perfect for produce! Definitely have to get some macrame cord now. Thanks for sharing. :)

Or you could use the plastic bags to make the macrame cord...
This is by far the most easy yet still beautiful tutorial for a macrame bag I have seen! Thank you! I will try this out soon!
My first contact with macrame... and this video is just perfect!! Makes me want to go and tie some knots right away! I will definitely give this a try. Thank you so much!
Beautiful bag! I love it! One thing I would change is use some e6000 or Fabri-Tac on those final knots just to secure them. Maybe overkill but it would ease my mind. I hate it when my world comes undone. lol!
I just bought the cord! I’m so excited to make this! 🙌
Ahhh! I adored this tutorial! I’m going to make it! Thank you! Love your channel 😘
i’ve been waiting for a good market bag tutorial 😭🙌🏼
Thank you for the tutorial. I almost bought a market bag, but I couldn't find one I liked and they are so expensive. This pattern is so cute.
holy crap this was wayyyyy easier than i expected, great tutorial!!
I did 10 rows that were 1 inch apart and it turned out really well because it was just a little bit bigger and there were less scraps also!
That is so beautiful! I'm gonna make a few of them this week! My daughter and her friend are about to go travel overseas for a year and these would be awesome for them! Thx for sharing! Stay safe!

This is just the video I was looking for today, thank you. I will be making several😊
I wish I had the patience for this lol. Great video
Love the bag! I'll have to try this one Also, a quick hack to sharpen your scissors in a pinch: cut through a few layers of aluminum foil. I usually get about a foot of foil and fol it until it's the length of my scissors, then I just cut all the way down the width of the foil.
Thank you. It is easy and fun. Beautiful!!!
Wow! Great job!!! I love it.
I’m going to make a bunch of these for grocery shopping!!!
SO cute!!! 💟
Thanks for the video! 💜 will be making this as soon as I find a local shop that has macrame chord.
So so cute!!
I loved you approach thanks
Cute and simple. I used 1" wide, natural colored cotton webbing for the handle. I hand-stitched the ends together with a small overlap and covered the joined strap ends with the initial row of knots. I used fray check on the final knots at the bottom. I fray checked before trimming. Allowed it to dry, trimmed the ends close and fray checked them again.

Hi Emily me encantan tus vídeos
Really nice, I like it, think i can do this ,it's easier than the one i made before.
Love it! Can you use wooden rings as the handles instead?
Love it. Thanks for your video. 💞☝❤👋🌹👍
This would go great as the shopping bag from The Handmaid’s Tale cosplay
Thank you so much. It seems when I do these patterns their is so much waste of cord. What is this the lease amount of cord length can I use. Is 5' doable?
Ma sei proprio bravissima complimenti 🥰🥰🥰
Tkank you very much
Yay... Mission started....
i would rather make the handles out of the macrame cord by making it into a twisted rope than use a hotglue gun glued lace... it just feels like the handle won't fall apart if it's a 'rope'.

how to do that?
@shivanidudyala770
4 жыл бұрын
@@magowiee it's similar to a square knot. u know how you have to do the knot two times (once on the left, once on the right) for a square knot? basically, for a twisted rope just do the knot on one side continuously. it's the spiral knot in the video link below. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iYphpLivp7HLcqw.html

@@EmilyFaith Hi Emily just wanting to know what size the macraweave macrame is?
Wow, I love your handles, what a great Idea. I've done these bags, but I had problems with the handles. Thanks again.
i know everyone doesn't have a sewing machine but it would only take a few minutes to properly stitch the handles together to prevent fraying.. js.
So easy, thanks for sharing
Can you tell me how long this bag is? I am trying to figure out how much cord to cut for the size I want to make! I love this video, btw. Finally a macrame bag that I understand how to do! Lol
May i know how many hours did you take to finish the macrame market bag?
Awesome project. Unfortunately I’m not coordinated enough to keep up with the knots and pattern as crazy as that sounds. After the final tie-off of the sides and bottom of the bag, I think it would look neat and interesting to leave the extra cord tails hanging free like fringe or even trimming them shorter if they are to long. Or even going ahead after closing up the sides and bottom, make a few more (or a lot more) rows of knotting to make like a macrame “panel” of sorts including or excluding the added fringe effect. Or another idea; string on some wood beads (or other types) onto the fringe or panel with fringe. So many possibilities.
How much excess cord did you end up having to cut off at the last step? I'm making a smaller bag so that will help me estimate my cord lengths.
How many meters of the macrame cord did you end up using?
just a question! from what it looks like, there was quite a bit of macrame rope cut off at the end. could I do this without making the chords 6ft to prevent so much from being cut off? If so, how much is alright? five feet? i want to make one around the same size as you, I just hate the idea of so much being cut off without use. thank you for your time :)

Lex Figueroa I’m sure you could try 5ft and worst case scenario you have to make the bag smaller then you thought
