amazing bio media filtration. perfect for an additional filtration. Would not recommend as main source of filtration, this provides effectively zero mechanical filtration. (solid waste by product removal).. this issue can be corrected if you build and run 3 of these in succession. otherwise this is a subpar filter. first chamber add a media sock, second chamber add sponges and lots of floss like cotton, 3rd chamber is this BIO chamber ran in succession for best results. your welcome in advance.

To be honest m not sure but u can use any type of fittings, that's just what I had available on hand to make the video. Thank for ur comment
