How to Treat / Shock and Disinfect your Well Water with Chlorination. After much research & speaking with many professional well companies, my county Environmental Health Agent and doing research online, I have come up with a technique to disinfect my Well Water that is quick, easy and cost effective.
Bacteria in your well water can be dangerous to your health, discolor your clothes, smell bad and cause staining to your sinks, toilets, showers, etc.
This video will help you get rid of some of the effects of iron, manganese and bacteria in your well water making it more useable for you and your family.

use the outside faucet and garden hose to flush system then it will not effect your sewer system

septic or sewer? i believe if you are on sewer, you have city water
What is the depth of your well? 600' ok. The depth to water level?The diameter of your pipe to determine volume to be disinfected? That's a HUGE amount of HTH!
Wayyy too much sodium hypochlorite. One pound of it treats 10,000 gallons. Well pump RIP.
As long as there are no algaecides in the granules.....
Can you use steramine to disinfect water for drinking?

I do not know about this product. You may want to check with your local county environmental health department and or the manufacture of the product
My guess this is in California because they have a really crappy table, in Michigan you just go down 20 ft if not higher and you start hitting water

different steps in the process. watch the video again. tap at well if you have that kind of well configuration, is to recirculate. tap furthest from house is to flush the system
