Instead of using biplanes, me and my mate will both spawn jets. One of us will scout for helis then squad mark beneath them as they’re usually very low to the terrain. The other will deliver a swift 1000lb bomb to that previous mark and send them to god.

Less effective, yet more toxic way of dealing with helirushers (or sometimes campers with ATGMS) is SCOUT DRONE You just take LT on first spawn and try to crash in its main rotor. Then wait and watch chat fill with toxic spews. (it also counts as crash for them, so sometimes you can wipe player from game and make them sit in hangar for 5 minutes to think about their behavior)

I got an ace once using the AV8's Vtol mode over the helipad. and yes, I sat there until KA50 after KA50 spawned gunning them down with my 30mm. I have only done this once, and am afraid to do it again as I do not believe I can ever top that.

I've done the same "low tier planes" strategy, but ever since the Hurricane with the 40mm cannons got moved down to 2.0, I've been using that to disassemble helicopters spontaneously with 40mm HE rounds (and of course it still has two machine guns to finish off stray extra helis once I run out of cannon ammo.

One MBT-70 is all it takes to turn from a heli rusher to heli paste

the reason the AA "misses" all of its shots and does "no damage" when it does "hit" is because the first helicopter base AA is purely warning shots and is programmed to be unable to damage any enemy aircraft, which makes it all more easy to actually do this tactic.

Quick and easy godmode. The italian cr.42 is perfect for the role, one of the faster biplanes and has 2 explosive .50 cals

If they're using atgms, provided you know they're there, put up a wall of machine guns then rangefind the chopper if you have a rangefinder and hit them with HE.

I just recently about 2 weeks ago added a biplane to my ground line up for just this reason I think gajin needs to accurately set SPAA to be able to engage at the real ranges. The Gepard is capable out to 6000 M

me and some friends were playing top tier and had 1 or 2 bum rush in choppers at the start almost every game so i decided to elect my self as dedicated AA at the start of games and i tell you i never thought grinding components on m163 would be so easy without premium time

No worry as a italian aa player i solve the heli and jet issuies quite a lit for my team i get like 7 air kills Edit: the biplane tactic is good.

I already did this so many times. For this reason I sometimes take not biplanes but a plane like the Ki-34 with me (because it is faster) and slap helis out of the sky. Just a side note: It can be beneficial if you turn your engine off before making the final approach. A silent glider of death. If the Chopper notices you always go above it. Many heli pilots are so braindead that they will try to look straight up (and ram their back rotor right into the ground. Even if not no helicopter can shoot straight upwards.

Am I old for remembering that the ultimate shit on enemy helicopters was to fly by with a Po-2 and kill them with the rear gunner? Or like the one dude that landed below a helicopter and bullied it to death with it´s gunner in a Po-2?

You claim to have listed every helicopter in the game in the description yet you didn't include the SA.341F, SA.342M, SA.342L, IAR 316B, SA 316B, SA 313B, as well as the numerous variants of the UH-1 and BO 105, not to mention basically the entire British tech tree. Sadly you leave me no choice but to dislike this video for spreading misinformation.

Helipad AA was neutered because fixwing CAS players kept crying that they couldn't fly literally everywhere on the map. So gaijin nerfed one branch of CAS because another was crying too hard

I really hated it an i exclusively fly fighters. CAS would always use it as a defensive shield and it is so close to the battlefield sometimes it would shoot at you on the center of the map. It was just a terrible idea all-around, it should be completely removed

I just want to thank you for sending more tasty planes. Unlike many heli pilots tanks are my secondary snack with planes being my primary. I'll throw a small pity bone to the crowd. Yes bi-planes can be sneaky but they are slow and they do show up nicely on radar. Couple that with chin mounted 20mm+ lock-on capable dipshit deleter, well you get the point. I genuinely wish you guys well as a very small percentage (0.03%) of us actually hate easy targets and love the challenge. See you out there. (great video keep up the great work!)

I was using laser guided gbu on my TRAM A6. Pretty fun thing, it capable to hit ka50 on full speed. Also i am using agm65s from a10 as air-to-air missile against helis

I spawn KA-50 with bombs first so when I get my double kill I can say "Ka-Boom" in chat and marinate in the hatred and admiration of my enemies.

tbh bombs, rockets, and guns are all fun and balanced on helis. Those are what I typically bring since atgms are boring.

I main top tier SPAA because my idea of having fun is ensuring that jet and heli pilots arent.

Honestly the worst part of heli players are the rats that sit below your air spawn and just smack you in the ass with a heatseaker or radar guided missile. Good lord those ones piss me off. I spawn to eliminate an enemy jet or heli, just to be immediately killed by a heli.

No the thing is he’s completely right, even with a spitfire or other ww2 plane aswell there slow enough and mostly manuverable enough to evade threats from ground and helis I played a game last week where I killed 4 helis with my typhoon in one game
