thanks for the buld delete tip. i had thousands of emails and probably 1% of google drive storage left so this really helped me thanks!

WOW! Thank you so much. I had been doing it the hard way. After neglecting to delete unwanted Emails for several months (I get about 30 to 50 a day from people I have purchased from) I had quite a backlog of unwanted emails to delete. You have helped me immensely.

Thanks, I could maybe make a video on that in the future, but it is fairly difficult because you need quite a high featured video editing app, so I'm a little worried it wouldn't be of much interest to a lot of my audience.

I've tried different devices and there is no box to 'select all'. I've tried it in the browser as well as the Gmail app. Do i need to be using a PC?

Yes, you can't do this at all on a phone or tablet, it has to be a computer.

Why am I not getting an option for all emails selection?

I've just tested some things, and I've discovered it doesn't seem to work unless you are using the default inbox. Click on the settings icon in the top right hand corner, and in the panel that appears, scroll down to "inbox type", and make sure it is set to default. Hopefully, it is set to something else, and you can change it to default, then you will be able to bulk delete.

I've got 255,079 emails. It asks if I want to delete them all , I say yes, and it doesn't work!

You probably just need to wait quite a while for it to process with that many emails. If you check back tomorrow, they should all be deleted.

With that many emails it will probably take quite a long time for them all to delete, but if you selected them all, they should all be deleted eventually.
