You mean you don’t strike with malicious intent? Because striking to disable is hurting somebody.

While I think you might have a point to some extent regarding the OPs comment, the idea you put forward of being less threatened by an older person is honestly dangerous. A saying I once heard comes to mind, 'The gun does does not care, if it is a child or an adult that pulls the trigger'.
