Dude. Same af I started playing in season 4 and I’m not joking I haven’t raged quite like that in a long time. It’s gotten to the point where I will get on mic before game starts and start doing my own commentary loud and obnoxious ass stuff, real toxic behavior, but I don’t give a damn anymore. I’ll start off by saying something like HEY FOLKS IT LOOKS LIKE WE HAVE S 100% chance that this player will run pick and roll every play multiple times a drive and when you shut it down they will quit bc they crumble. 98% of the people o play run pnr and once they realize about a quarter somtimes two into the game it isn’t gonna work like they want it to they quit. All ppl know how to do is pnr pnp or left right. So I’ll be like oh god bob he is doing it left right left right left right pray that what he does works ahh another turnover for pick and rollers. I have had ppl straight up quit while they was winning bc of it and it’s a good tool to us as well as being good at stopping the pnr i don’t get stops everytime but it d say if i can stop it atleast 75% of the time and hit my shots ill win the game

Oh and don’t get me started on the ppl who off ball the entire game and just sit there watching the game and when u throw it to the person they are defending they will look so dumb by jumping when no one is around or running into the crowd bc they are confused

What about the switch all defense? You can switch all no hedge in the settings.

Listen to this man. The point of this video is to learn how to play all types defense. Not just one type is going to beat every opponent. Off/On Ball, screens do it all. I usually start with default settings. Then watch my opponents tells. After one quarter or halftime. I switch my defense then work from there. Most people are only going to have 2 ways to score mainly. If you stop those first 2. They won't have anything left.

Absolutely nothing touched on settings yet. Even got ACE on. So this is more of a base coverage that you can tweak with defensive settings of your preference

You can but the risk is that you overshoot your target and they can punish that by using left stick crossovers. So I’d use turbo selectively so you can still change directions

They only added AI’s sigs, which means the best moves from season 1 are still great! If you were to ask me, I think Jamaal Murray/Harden behind the back still the best. steph’s combo moves, stepback is still really good, fox spin jumper and combo moves are great, Garland’s breakdown dribbles are excellent, but there are a few that are great. D rose sizeup if you love fast combos, garland is great too.

Yes but your relying on comp defense a lot so it’s really off ball defense which I hate but I live this for my association tho good looking out fam 💯🤞🏾

It's tough man, there's only so much you can do on ball in the pick and roll unless you're going to hard trap. Because a second offensive player is involved in the action, you're going to have to mix up the defensive strategy. it's not a pride thing, but if you choose to go on ball and strictly fight screens and hope you don't get caught it's a losing strategy. Mix things up for sure!

Yessir, in team based modes, holding X (PS5) or A (Xbox) will switch the matchup to your nearest teammate. In MyCareer it's different, you got to tap Icon select, and select the button of the matchup you want to switch on to.
