I like the wooden box of ornaments at the base of the tree! I have 4-6 trees throughout my house and pool house and switch it up every year. This was great inspiration. I too have disco balls and tons of chrystal ornaments some of my trees and I love love love the way the lights twinkle in them - not gaudy...classy! I've never seen the wreaths used like that...love it!

Patting myself on the back because my tree looks SO similar right now. A little suggestuion: i find the strings really distracting so if i’m not tucking ornaments in, i’ll hang an ornament and wrap the string around the branch so that you don’t see as much of it. This is also great if you have cats! The dangly ornaments are like catnip to them! By wrapping the string around the branches, the ornaments are a lot more secure and won’t be as tempting to the fur-babies!

I agree; strings are an eyesore to the whole design. ornaments should appear as floating over the tree. the worst are those paper clip looking ones lol
