How to Decorate a Journal Cover . Decoupage with Decoupage Paper and Bicomponent Cracking Paste

Hello friends!
I'm going to decorate the cover of a journal for you today that I made in two other tutorials.

I used a bicomponent cracking paste , but what happens if the first component is expired and can't be used anymore, as it happened to me ? Do we throw the second component in the trash?
Of course not!!!
I've let you in on a secret, you can replace it with PVA Glue ! It works perfectly!
Then, I chose a decoupage paper with a special message, which I avoided dipping in water before gluing! I wonder why? Because I worked a decoupage on cardboard , and cardboard can react quite badly to water !
The journal sheets are steeped in coffee and black tea then stitched together and bound into a card quilt.

Hola Dani!! te quedo bellisima la cubierta de tú diario, y con la orilla de la cinta se ve genial, sabes en buena honda te tengo una envidia pues como me gustaría conseguir la cinta ya he ido a tantos lugares y nadie la vende he buscado en Aliexpress y no logro encontrarla como me gustaría existiera en mi país la cinta decraled en fin creo que nunca podre hacer las cosas tan bellas que realizas con esa cinta, linda te mando un fuerte abrazo Dios te bendiga.
