How to decode Dodge Plymouth fender tag
Review of Mopar trim tags. This is the first of many videos relating to trim tags. Some people call then fender tags. Chrysler referred to then as Body Code Plate. This was because it was used to identify the codes which was the road map of how to build the vehicle in the body shop.

Can you please tell me what size engine this 1967 barracuda has fender tag is BH29 31 5 205. I will appreciate a lot your help, thanks.
I still have my original car 1969 Barracuda formula s purchased used May 1st 1975 young and dumb sent my Fender tag off to get Chrome plated as you are aware most Chrome shops do not keep very good track of items being sent to them luckily I got mine back intact still all the car to this day the Chrome plated
Do a video on VIN plates. Why 95% are black. A few are silver? Yea my 70 Road Runner has a silver one. I’ve seen a couple 70 Chargers will silver vin tags. All L.A built cars.

Starting in 1968 the VIN plates are black. Cars that are left in direct hot sun for years will cause the black to actually baked off.
